Kali and I sat on my bed and Daisy answered, "Yo, I was asleep, you know," she groaned in the phone.

I let out a sigh, "He kissed me," I whispered, but it was loud enough for them to hear me.

Kali gasped, "No. No no no, he has you now," she groaned, "This bet is now in his control," she said frantically, "Why would you let this happen?"

Daisy sighed, "Yeah, Krys, why?"

I groaned, rubbing my face, "I didn't have much of a choice, he pinned me to the garage door and he's stronger than me. I had nowhere to go," I whined, "He had me trapped."

Daisy let out a sigh yet again, "Okay, I know you're going to be reluctant on this, but hear me out. Kali said Chance is there, try him. If he's truly changed and you explain the situation he should be okay with helping you out," she suggested.

I felt myself cringing at the idea of talking to Chance. "Oh, god no. My life has actually come to this? Chance is my last resort," I mumbled, "This is going to be difficult because I was flirting with Marcus to get him away from me and I think Chance still liked me," I said.

Just saying that sounds too good to be true.

Kali shrugged, "Just explained what happened there. I mean, you don't really have any other option," she informed me.

With a sigh I agreed, even if I really didn't want to. Daisy then said she was off to bed and she would call tomorrow. I turned on the second The Princess Diaries movie.

I then pulled up Chance's number, which I hadn't deleted because I didn't want to. I then sent him a quick message:

I'm sorry about earlier today, but I need your help.

What do you need help with?

Marcus.

What about him?

It's hard to explain, would you want to meet up tomorrow so I can? It would be easier that way.

Sure. I also accept your apology if you accept mine.

Okay. I forgive you, sort of.

I can deal with that. I'll text you tomorrow where we could meet up.

Okay, thank you.

I then stuck my phone on my dresser, plugging it into the charger. Kali smiled at me, "You're going to win this bet, trust me. You're going to win because I'm involved and I won't let you lose."

I bit my lip. I sure hope I do.

I then walked over and grabbed a pair of pajamas, going to put them on. I walked over to the bathroom that was across the hall from my room.

On my way, I heard my father on the phone. I walked over to the cracked door slowly, trying not to make a noise. It's like ten o'clock. Who is he talking to? Wouldn't his clients be asleep at this time?

"Look, we can go out soon, I promise. I'm trying to keep things sane in my house so no one catches on," he spoke into the phone. He let out a sigh, "Yes, do love you. I promise you. I love you more than Lynn," he spoke making my heart drop, "It's just hard working around everything."

He's having an affair?

I let out a breath trying my hardest to not go in there and beat the crap out of my dad. I had to keep my calm, even if I wanted to barge in there and do otherwise.
