This is still in Marcus' POV
Letting out a breath in the morning, I turned over in the bed. My eyes slowly opened and I smiled when I saw Krystal next to me. She was gorgeous, even though I feel as though Alexis was prettier.
I pushed myself up from the bed and walked down the hall to the bathroom. I quickly took a bathroom break and made my way back to Krystal's room. On the way there, Lynn was walking out of her room.
She smiled and walked over to me, "Good morning, Marcus," she mumbled, rubbing her eyes before letting out a yawn. Yawning myself I said a good morning back. She then walked past me, "I'll start breakfast," she notified me, "You can go ahead and wake up Krystal if you want. She won't mind," she informed me. She continued down the hall and then made it down the stairs.
I walked back into Kali's room and just looked around. She had so many pictures with her friend, Daisy. They seemed so happy together, while right now she just seems okay. I mean it might just be her and I don't know since she just came here just last week, but still.
I the looked at her desk and she had quite a lot of makeup. Like it took up over half the desk. I remember when Alexis and I were together all she wanted was food and makeup, so it was easy to buy things for her. Just from glancing around at her makeup I knew that it wasn't cheap.
I walked over to her bed and sat down. I then nudged her a little bit and she mumbled something, but I couldn't understand what she had said. I then nudged her again and she then moved her arm in a hitting motion. I knew she didn't want to get up, but oh well. I then took the blanket away from her and she groaned, "Stop it," she shouted.
I rolled my eyes at her, "Get up, your mother is making breakfast and I'm not eating alone," I told her sternly. I was not going to eat by myself down there, nor with her mother either. That's just weird, and uncomfortable to think about.
She opened her eyes slightly, "Too bad," she mumbled before coughing. I rolled my eyes and opened her curtain, letting light shine throughout her room. She then covered her face with her pillow, which I then took as well. She groaned, "Why do you hate me?" She whined, pushing herself up from her laying position. Her eyes were red and she seemed to look very bad. I watched her face and she immediately covered her mouth and ran to the bathroom, throwing up.
I walked in and held her hair away from her face. I let out a sigh before speaking, "I suggest you shower, once you're done. It might help you," I suggested, hoping she would do so. I think it would help a little bit.
She sniffled, nodding her head, "Okay," she mumbled. Her voice was now sounding croaking. I was genuinely worried about her and I was hoping she would have gotten better with a good nights sleep, but it didn't seem to happen.
I then called my mother, stepping out of the bathroom as Krystal started up the water. I walked down the stairs and found myself in the living room, where I then sat down. My mother then answered, "Marcus?" She asked. I knew that she had just woken up as well.
I glanced around the room before speaking, "I just wanted to give you a heads up that Krystal won't be able to come to work. I thing she has some kind of stomach flu because she keeps vomiting. We slept the whole time I was hear and I'm shocked that she didn't get the slightest bit better," I explained to her.
My mother sighed, "Okay. Before you ask, I'm not annoyed. My head just hurts," she mumbled. I knew she was acting like she didn't know why, but we both knew why. She decided to get wasted last night.
I found myself rolling my eyes at her. I then spoke, "Take some Tylenol and I'll bring the car keys by in an hour so you can get to work," I told her before hanging up. I then walked over to the kitchen and sat down as Lynn handed me a plate of waffles.
