You entered Rivendell, with your younger cousin Legolas. You and Legolas were called to Rivendell, along with some nobles, to have a meeting with the people of Rivendell, you were quite confused on the subject, however. All you were told by your Uncle, is that we needed to save the world, and also obtaining this special ring in the process, to allow your Uncle to have all the power in the world.

Legolas also warned you not to trust your Uncle, and his father. He was not to be trusted, until Legolas was named king of the trees in Mirkwood, the one to rule the wood. You have been awaiting for that day, ever since your mother and father died, and your Uncle took you in, and became corrupted.

You were told to wait in this room with your cousin, and the rest of the elves that accompanied you, into the city. After a few hours, and a few arrivals later, you were called into an out-door conference room. A few humans were concerned about the fact that anyone could hear our discussions. Elrond answered politely, "Those who spy upon us, will either know what we are talking about, join us, or face sudden death."

"As you all know, I am Elrond, the lord of this city," I will go around and announce everyone's names." He started with me, and smiled, "This is, Y/N... Of Mirkwood." You get up, and bow to everyone, and they all reply with a slight nod. "This is Legolas of Mirkwooooddddd-" You zone out, and stare at Elrond, you think he is quite handsome, he has power, but you do too... But that shouldn't be the matter.

"Y/N? Y/N...?" You wake up, you discover that you were spaced out, wondering on how a handsome elf like Elrond could be found on Middle Earth. You can't help but smile... "He's so handsome", you say to yourself... "Y/N!"

That time, it was Legolas. "Oh, sorry cousin. I am truly sorry, Lord Elrond," you say turning to Elrond, "Now, where were we?"

Elrond gives you a polite, and shy smile. 'What is behind that smile, what is going on inside that head?' You may never know...

Elrond walks to a table, "Fredo, bring forth, the ring..." A small, halfling brings a golden ring, to Elrond, and the table. Elrond bows his head, and he halfling returns to his seat, next to a wizard, dressed in all gray. "This ring," Elrond continues, "Was meant to be destroyed long ago... By the very man, who sought to destroy the evil that twas lingering in Mordor..." Elrond glances at you, smiles, and spreads out his arms, "This is why I have called you here..." Before Elrond could finish his words, a gruffy dwarf rises from his chair, "Well, let's destroy it then!" Elrond shakes his head, glances at you again, with an amusing smirk, and a playful look in his big, sad eyes. "If it's so evil, then let's destroy it here!" The dwarf proceeds to grumble, and swear under his breath, before he reaches the table, raises his big axe, and strikes the ring... Only to discover that his axe, had broken in two... "Well, shit. I didn't think that'd happen."

Elrond laughs pleasantly, "It may seem clear, and easy Master Dwarf... But tis not I'm afriad." You smile, as the other elves around you smile, and laugh at the clumsy dwarf, "You are most funny, dwarf, but maybe Lord Elrond has a plan," a fellow elf says.

"Aye, that I do," Elrond says grimly, "A most dangerous one... We need brave souls, that have courage to do the task that I have set out for you all. Where was the ring made? Hm? Ah, yes, thank you Boromir, Mordor, yes... This ring, constructed by Sauron himself... (Sorry 😭 I forgot how to spell his name, and I can't look it up now) In the fires of Mount Doom (Let's just call it that for now), it was created... There, we can destroy it."

All the races look at each other, the elves, to the dwarves, and the dwarves to the humans... Except for you... You stand up in your chair, "I volunteered to come here and listen to you, to the fact that a new evil has arisen in these happy, but sad times. I wish to go as the elf escort for the party." Elrond looks shocked, but with all your might, you stare back as a determined, wise elf woman. However, in his eyes, he views the exact opposite... "Young lady," Elrond began, "You were sent here by your Uncle, yes, he wants the ring... But you are young, two hundred, seventy-five years old... I am much, much, much more older than that... I am wise, I am certain, sending you as an escort, will end your life..." You stare back, uncertain about his certainty, "Young lady, you are much too young to understand, my wisdom.... Hear me out, do not go..." You nod, and, surprisingly, he gives a slight nod, but, in his eyes, he was joyful, and he looked at rest.
