A Potion Can Go A Long Way

~Chapter 2~

~The Potion~

Sonic's P.O.V.

I turned in my bed. I heard a faint voice then something jumping on me. "Wake up! Rise and shine" an all too familiar voice shouted. "Ah! Amy!" She got off of me. "Wake up" she repeated. "Alright alright, I'm up!" I got up. I pushed her out. I closed the door and locked it. I removed my clothes, except my boxers (there's an imagine for ya *wink*). I went to my dresser and opened the drawer. There was the clothes among my clothes. I was kind if questioning if that actually happened. It was real... I picked up the card. It was black and outlined with a shiny green. All it had on it was her name, 'Emerald'. I flipped it over, nothing. That's all it had on it. I got dressed quickly and examined the card. I didn't get it at first. It took me awhile. "Emerald.." I whispered reading the card. The card shimmered. I tilted my head questionably. I put the card up to my mouth. "Emerald" I said. Then a cloud of green mist came out and surrounded me. I coughed and swished the air in front of me. It cleared and I was in some place. It was dark and it looked like a small hut. It had shelves with bottles on them and there was a cauldron in the middle. Emerald was there stirring the cauldron. "Oh, hello" "Wow, uhh..." "You came for the potion yes?" She asked. I just nodded slowly. She smiled and went to one of the shelves. "I think I might be able to help you with that 'Love' problem" she searched through some bottles and picked out one. It had a label that siad 'Reverse Cupid'. "Nice name..." "thanks" she spun around on her heel back to the cauldron. "Uh, thanks" "I hope you like it.." She smiled. She waved her hand in the air and I was engulfed by the green smoke again. I coughed and waved the air again. I was back in my room. The card fell on the ground. I heard the doorknob jiggle. The door opened and Amy walked in. I put my foot over the card and slid it under my dresser and hid the potion behind my back. "What was that?" She questioned. "Nothing" I lied. She looked at me with a questionable look. She left the room slowly. I looked at the potion. "Let's see if it works" I whispered to myself. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Amy was in there, perfect. I hid behind the wall and had the potion behind my back. "Oh hey Sonic" "Hey Amy. Uh, you want some orange juice?" I asked her while opening the fridge. I slipped my hand into the fridge to make it look like I was grabbing something. "Uhh, sure.." She said questionably. I watched her as she went off into the dining room. I quickly pulled out the orange juice, poured a glass, and poured in some of the potion. All you have to do is give it to her... I walked over to her and handed it to her. "Thank you" she said and took a sip. I watched her with the glass. "What?" "Nothing" I said and walked away. Is it working? I saw she drank it. She washed out the cup. She stopped what she was doing and rushed off. She went to the bathroom. I could tell because I could hear her throwing up. Uh oh... "hey Sonic, what's up?" I hear Daisy say as she walks in. Peach following close behind. "Oh uh, just.... making some pancakes" I say while grabbing the spatula from the pan on the stove. She looked at me, not buying it. "Okay, I'm just waiting for Amy" I turn my head as Amy walks in. "Hey Amy" Daisy waved to her. "Hey Daisy... Sonic" she gave me a look. After that the was perfect! No Amy bothering me and annoying me. It was great, I think. Peach and Daisy both approached me later. "What's up with Amy?" Daisy asked. "I don't know, why don't you ask her" "we did. She insists there's nothing wrong with her" Peach explained. "Why do you suspect that it was me!?" "Because your the start of all her problems" Daisy said with a anrgy tone. Wow, maybe I'm doing Amy a favor too. "Okay, your eventually gonna figure out so... I gave her a potion" "What kind of potion?" She asked. I felt like I was in an interrogation. "Well, a potion to make it where she doesn't love me" "what!?" She waved her arms in the air. "Why would you do that?!" "Hey, I'm doing myself a favor and you just said so yourself, I'm the cause of all her problems, so I'm doing her a favor as well" I replied kind of angrily. She looked at me for a moment. "I guess... your right. In a way. Okay, I won't say anything or do anything. For now" Daisy said and Peach nodded. They both walked away.
