A Potion Can Go A Long Way

~Chapter 3~

~Another Potion~

Sonic's P.O.V.

The next day I walked inside from a run. At this point everyone knew she was under a potion influence. Except Amy. I saw Amy sitting on the couch with, Shadow!? Not a 'he's just on the same couch'. She was kind of top of him. "What the heck Amy!?" "What? Ugh.." She rolled her eyes. I walked over. Shadow kind of pushed her off. "You always ruin everything" she whined. "It was her doing" Shadow raised his hands. "Why should you care anyways. I'm not your girl blue freak" "okay.. that's it" I walked away. Shadow followed me. "Regretting it?" Shadow asked me. "No, I love it! She's not bothering me, but I don't want her to hate me!" "Then you know who you have to see" Shadow crossed his arms and told me. I don't want her to hate me. So I'll change her... again. Not back to normal. I didn't want her to hate me in the first place. I just didn't want her to love me. "Crap" "What? You don't wanna do it?" "No, I just don't know where the card is Emerald gave me...." I thought for a moment till Shadow sighed. "Here." He handed me a card, just like the one Emerald gave me. "Uh.. thanks" "I want it back" he told me while he walked away. I smiled and said Emeralds name into the card. I was engulfed by the green smoke once more. I coughed every time, so far that is. "Back again" Emerald said. She was just sitting there with a book in her hand. "Yeah..." "here to change her back" Emerald asked while getting up. "No" she stopped and looked surprised. "I want a different potion. I don't want her to hate me, I just want her to not love me" I explained. She wandered off to a shelf and looked at all the bottles. "I'll have to make a special batch just for you" she turned to me. "Okay.." "get these ingredients" she said as she whisked her hand in the air and a paper appeared. She handed me the paper and I disappeared in the fog again. I appeared exactly where I was before. I looked at the list. 'A piece of her hair, a piece of your hair'. Oh, actually very simple. I rushed to the bathroom that the girls use. All of our rooms were on the second floor. The girls on the left and the guys on the right and there was one bathroom for each side. I found Amy's hairbrush and picked a hair from it. I ran back out and said Emeralds name into the card again. Y'know the drill; smoke, coughing, appear in Emerald's house. She smiled upon my arrival. I picked a hair off of my head. She mixed the ingredients into the cauldron. The hair and some other things. She finished and smelled it. "Smells wonky, but that's a good sign. Hope it does what it's suppose to do" she said handing me the new potion. She labeled it 'Friends'. "Heh, thanks" I disappeared in a puff of smoke again after she waved her hand in the air. I went to the kitchen. I poured some juice in a glass and added the potion. Amy came downstairs into the kitchen. Perfect timing. "Hey Amy, want some of this new drink I found?" I had to improvise because the potion changed the color of the drink. The drink was now purple. "I'll pass. From the likes of you it's likely to be poisoned" she opened the fridge. "Well okay, I guess your too scared to try a drink" "heh, your way more scared than me about everything" she grabbed the drink from my hands. She drank it. "Yuck, tastes like pomegranate and bananas" she grimaced. I took the glass from her. "Yup, that's exactly what it was" I lied. She walked away. I washed the glass out and threw away the potion bottle. I waited to see what her reaction would be the next time I see her. I waited around until Daisy and Peach approached me. "What?" "So you changed her back?" "Yea..." "good. It's not okay to mess with people like that" Daisy said. I saw Amy walk by. "Hey guys" she said while walking up to us. "Hey Amy" Daisy replied. "Sorry did I interrupt a conversation?" "No, no not at all" I said and looked at Daisy and Peach. "Oh. I just had this wierd episode in the bathroom. I think I ate or drank something that upset my stomach" she rubbed her stomach. "Oh really" Daisy said while looking at me. "Yeah, it was weird. Well, I'm gonna go see if I can take any  medication" she walked away. Daisy looked at me. "She seemed a bit weird, but that could just be a little side affect..." Daisy ran her fingers down the side of her cheeks. "We're watching you" Peach said and they walked away. I wonder if the other potion worked.
