Chapter 2

Astrid woke up early the next morning and began to pack her things. She hopped on Stormfly and began to fly to Krull Island. It wasn't that far, it was just North of dragon Island. After some time, Astrid and Stormfly finally land on the island, and Astrid begins her search.

"If I was a magical stone of good fortune,. Where would I be.." Astrid started to walk with Stormfly through the woods, when she heard something rustling in the bushes.

"Who's there?" Astrid asked
The rustling stops, no reply.

"ookay.." said Astrid, "I think I'm losing it.. let's just get the stone and get out of here"
Stormfly purred in agreement and they continued to walk. Suddenly, Astrid began hearing footsteps, she turned around, but the only thing she saw was Stormfly. There was nothing else that looked out of the ordinary. Astrid took a few steps backwards and bumped into something.

"AHHH!" Screamed Astrid
"AHHH!" Screamed Hiccup

They both turned around and were very surprised to see each other.

"You!" Said Astrid.
"You!" Repeated Hiccup.

"What in the name of Thor are you doing here?" Said Astrid.

"What am I doing here? What are you doing here?!" Replied Hiccup.

"If you must know, I'm looking for the stone of good fortune" she sighed.

"The stone of good for- how did you know it was here? I thought you'd be at Changewing Island with everybody else." Said Hiccup.

"I thought you'd be at Changewing Island with everybody else!" said Astrid.

"Me? I'm not stupid enough to mistake a Changewing egg from a stone of good fortune" he explained.

"Well neither am I" said Astrid.

"Oh yeah? I find that very hard to believe" Hiccup chuckled.

"Excuse me?" Astrid huffed, "you know what? why don't we go our separate ways, I certainly don't need you here"

"And I most definitely don't need you bickering and talking the whole time" said Hiccup.

"Good. Then it's settled." Said Astrid.

"Fine." Hiccup answered.

"Fine" Astrid repeated.

The two Vikings turned around and walked in opposite directions with their dragons.

"I just cant believe him!" Astrid yelled, blinded by her anger, "he's such a jerk"

Stormfly purrs.

"Right? I mean, out of all the islands in the archipelago, why did he have to be on this one?"
Astrid was so angry, she wasn't paying attention to where she was going.
"I just cant stand the idea of him being the chief of the Island that I live on someday, it sounds absolutely ridiculo- AHHH" Astrid suddenly slipped and fell, she found herself hanging from the side of a cliff.
"HELP!" She screamed, "STORMFLY?"
Her fingers were beginning to slip.
Stormfly rushed to protect her owner, but Astrid failed to keep her grip on the rocks and began falling REALLY FAST. Stormfly began to fly towards her, but she wasn't fast enough. Astrid screamed for her life, then she closed her eyes and began to accept her fate.
Then just as she was about to hit the ground, she stopped feeling the air slapping her, she just felt herself ascending, flying.

"Either Stormfly caught me, or I'm dead right now and my soul is rising to Valhalla" She thought.

Astrid slowly opened her eyes and found herself sitting behind Hiccup on his Night Fury. She was lost for words.
