XII. Glow

It was difficult to get up the following morning.

Rj was exhausted but the it was the good kind of tired, and Maine was sore, but blissfully so.

"Dito nalang tayo." She coaxed, kissing him again.

He shook his head. "As much as I want to, hindi pwede. I have to be on set by lunch."

"Lunch pa pala eh."

They kissed again and it took all his strength to pull away. "Let's go. Sabay nalang tayo mag-shower."

That shower took longer than expected to finish.

While he was getting dressed, she reheated some of the leftovers from last night so that he could eat before he left. While she was serving him, she noticed he was smiling at their jar. "Bakit?" she asked.

"Wala. I'm just, don't get me wrong, pero happy ako that last night, our first time 'again', was not part of the stuff we listed. Hindi ko ma-explain - basta yun."

She smiled and held his hand. "I know. Me, too. Pero Rj?"

"Yes?"

"Curious pa din ako sa blindfold."

Rj choked on his drink. "Naman, Meng eh."

She laughed at his blush. "Ano kasi?"

He narrowed his eyes at her. "Wait, sure ka bang random yun? Or dinaya mo yung pagpili?"

"Grabe ka mag-bintang! Ikaw kaya yung nakabunot ng sex and going down on each other? MAGKASUNOD?"

"Meng..."

"Errrrrr....Ang baduy kasi nung una!" She confessed.

He laughed. "What was it?"

"Sleep together, which we already did... So, I ummm, I picked again. Hindi ko naman sinilip beforehand. Swerte lang talaga ako." She smiled.

"Happy ka pa ha."

"So ano nga? Sinong naka-blindfold? Ikaw? Or ako?"

He blushed. "Ikaw. Sana. Kung payag ka."

"Hmm... have you done that with anyone else?"

He shook his head.

"Good. Then, payag ako. Yun lang ba?"

"Yes. Well, umm..."

"What?"

"Wala. Tsaka na. Pag gagawin na." He got up. "Aalis na muna ako, baka kung san na naman mapunta usapan natin eh."

"No, don't leave yet. We have time pa!" Maine sat on his lap. "One more?"

"Huy! Aren't you sore?"

"I am but I still want -"

He cut her off by kissing her. "No, rest ka muna. Do you have to go to the shop?"

"Yes, may appointment at two."

"Pahinga ka muna. I'll clean the dishes before I go. I'll text you if I'm free tomorrow ha?"

She agreed. "Tapos we'll pick another activity?"

"Huh?"

"Kasi I cheated with the blindfold, di ba?" She pouted.

He rubbed his nose with hers. "Sinabi ko bang papalitan?"

"Lakihan mo pa yang smile mo. Hindi pa yata kita nung camera sa kabilang studio," Mama Ten teased. "Nagustuhan ba ni Maine yung surprise mo sa kanya?"
