Chapter 8: Date?

JOCELYN'S POV

"Joe!" Beverly called. "Wanna go out to dinner with us?" She asked once I was in view.

"Sure... when?"

"Now"

"Ughhh! I'm not ready"

"It's ok, one of us we'll wait for you here and then take you to the resturaunt"

"Alright" I said and ran to go get dressed.

RONNIE'S POV

"Thanks for helping me you guys" I said once she was gone.

"No problem" They all said.

"Well bye!"

"Bye!" I said and took a seat on the couch.

Jocelyn ran out and then saw me.

"Oh, hi. Ready" She asked, obviously it was akward for her,

"Yep" I said standing up and walking out of the bus, with her far behind me.

We walked to the restraunt and I walked up to the person.

"Reservation for Radke"

"Ahh yes, right this way Mr.Radke" He said and led us to a 2 person table.

She was about to sit down.

"Wait, why are there only 2 chairs and where is everyone else."

"At a different restraunt, now sit."

"I refuse"

"Jocelyn, please just sit and don't make a scene."

"Whatever, this isn't a date."

"I know damn" I said unfolding the menu.

"Touch me or make a move and die" She said, not taking her eyes away from the menu.

"I figured. You don't have to be so pissy. No one you know will see you."

"Doubt it"

"Whatever" I said and put my menu down.

We ordered and got our food. I tried to strike up a conversation but she wouldn't budge. I payed nad we quickly got back to the bus. She went to the back to change and I colapsed on the couch.

"Didn't go so well?" Beverly asked with a smile.

"Horrible! I tried to be nice and strike up a conversation and everything but she wouldn't budge!"

"She'll come around" She said patting my back.

"I hope so"
