Sometimes i feel like all my life
I’ve been asleep with my eyes open
A burst of wind feels like something is about to change
And once you let go everything will be clear
Meaning meaning everyday the search for meaning
Sometimes i ask myself why did i bother to get up
I think something is seriously wrong with me
Do i understand that i can’t get away from this place
I was trying to get out of this place for years
Do i get the fact that there is no escape
Do i finally realize that we as in all of us are just faceless entities
Working on something monotonous day after day after day and nothing changes
Do i realize that i have woken up
From a dream that i was living through….awake
doesnt matter whos the special one
It’s always the same thing….the same person
5...4...3...2...more steps and you’ll be free It says but it's still the same
Do i realize the peace of nothingness
How quiet, serene, and tranquil nothingness is
Like a cherry blossom in the wind
Looking out that window i look down and i see my peace, my serenity
I step out forward and i see it pull towards me
Do i realize what i'm doing….yes
I found my peace
Then there’s a light,
Then it's gone
If you took the chance to open your eyes
You wouldn’t be so blind
As to see the world
As it truly is
You can’t hide from the flaws in the world
But you can see the great things
it leaves in its wake.
