Pregnant! There is no way I am! Jade is playing one of her stupid pranks on me...

There is not a baby inside of me...

"Hey Jadey" I call up my best friend one month after she played that joke on me...she thought she got me didn't she??

"Hi Cat" She says abruptly

"Watcha doin?" I ask

"Trying to reduce nausea" She sulks... I thought she was joking about her and Tori being pregnant?

"Ohhhh...So you and Beck are having a baby then?"

"Cat...for the millionth time! It was NOT a joke! You are pregnant" Jade almost screamed at me

"Jade stop it! I'm not" I persist

"Oh grow up Cat" she snaps, hanging up on me

She must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed...

No POV:

A week later Jade see's Cat alone and whimpering 

"Hey" Jade mumbles awkwardly

"H-hi" Cat sniffs

"Are you ok?" Jade rests her hand on her friends arm

"N-no" Cat turned and buried her head on Jades shoulder

"Hey there now..." Jade propped Cats head up "Tell me"

"I thought I need to grow up? So i should deal with my problems on my own" Cat blurted

"Come on Cat...all three of us are going through shit at the moment...allow me to be the hormonal mess I'm trying hard not to be around Beck!!" Jade snapped

"Fine" Cat sighed "I think you're right... I must be pregnant" Cat bowed her head

"How are you sure?" Jade said patronisingly 

"B-because...oh you know why Jade...and I'm scared...I'm really scared" Cat gripped her middle

"I know baby girl..." Jade, much to her dismay stroked her friends red hair very maternally "I am too"

*sniff-sniff*

"Hey Robbie...?" Cat said to her boyfriend as they sat alone in the black box theatre

"yeahhh?" Robbie looked up from his phone

"You know babies?" Cat nudged him 

"yeahhh?" He asked full of curiousity 

"WE'RE HAVING ONE!" She whisper blurted 

"Oh" Robbie sounded after a long pause "Are you happy with that Cat?"

"hee-hee that rhymed" Cat giggled

"Cat." Robbie said sternly 

"Ummm....Well I''m really scared but...I think it will be fun to have a baby around the house" Cat smiled

"What house?"

"Our house silly"

"Cat...we are 17 we don't have a house..." Robbie felt a panic attack brewing 

"But we will... we will just buy one!" 

"But we don't have any money...oh God my parents" Robbie clutched his chest

"Robbie it's going to be ok!!" Cat guided his hands from his forehead to her stomach 

"It won't kick yet Cat..." Robbie rolled his eyes 

"I know" Cat's eyes welled up as a sense of maturity followed out of her mouth "But someone's growing in their Robbie...someone WE made" 

Despite feeling as if his chest was about to explode, Robbie leant in and kissed her, patting gently on Cat's currently flat stomach

As Cat approached 11 weeks, her and Robbie had barely spoke, he text every morning and every night to check on the baby but...he was distant 

A few evenings before Jade told Beck, Cat was sitting on her bed when she heard a knock on the front door. After hearing muffled voices she heard footsteps coming up stairs and eventually knocking on her bedroom door.

"Hey" she heard Robbie's high yet masculine voice

"Robbie!" She nearly threw herself at him 

"Can we talk?"

"Sure" she said giddily 

"I'm sorry that I haven't been around for you...I needed time to think...time to process...that I am going to be a father...but I spoke to my dad..."

Cat gasped as she didn't want to tell parents until she saw that Tori and Jade were progressing to this stage

"He was angry...REALLY angry" Robbie's eyes widened "But he said he will pay for everything...medical bills the lot!...That's if you want to keep the baby...which is totally YOUR choice Cat. I just want you to know that I 100% support you..." Robbie smiled "I got a job, It's only fixing computers but it pays around $90 a repair...so In 9 months...with the help of my dad's loan...which we will pay back...we could afford a small apartment..."

"Really?" Cat covered her mouth with her hands in excitement

"If that's what you want..."

"YES!!!" Cat gripped him into a long kiss 

As they started to make out Robbie muttered "well at least we can't worry about getting pregnant"

Cat's POV:

So I'm pregnant

In a stable relationship

I'm happy...

I just hope my friends are too...
