Dr McNeanen's office was a large white room with window walls, located in the top right corner of Los Angeles General Hospital. It was filled to the brim of photos of her and her children, along with various medical awards for ob/gyn research contributions 

"So Jade...Beck...Have you had a think?" She said leaning back in her chair and taking her glasses off of her bronzed face and placing them on Jade's patient notes 

"I had already thought" Jade said erratically 

"No you jumped to the safest option" the doctor said sternly 

"Excuse me?" Jade said pumped full of hormones

"Jade I see young girls come through these doors on a daily basis telling me they wish to terminate...the truth is only 3% of those girls actually have" 

"Why do you think I haven't" Jade's lips quivered

"Because you and Beck are not as one..." she leant forward "You have not once shown me an indication you are on the same wavelength"

"You're a gynie not a shrink" Jade huffed

"I took a psychology course as part of my medical training" Dr McNeanen protested "I can see by your body language alone that Beck is adamant to terminate but you..." she stared Jade in her watery eyes "You feel differently"

"I don't want to be a mother" Jade stared back sternly 

"But you don't want to kill the baby...am I right"

Jade didn't answer 

"Silence speaks a thousand words" Dr McNeanen smiled smugly 

Before anyone could say anymore Jade done something she hadn't done in a very long time in public...erupt into uncontrollably tears 

"Heyyyy"Beck held her close "Don't cry J" 

"I'm not...It's these fucking hormones" she sniffed but continued to sob afterwards

"Jade be honest with Beck" the Doctor smiled reassuringly 

"I don't know what I want....God this is so fucked up!!" she leant her head back "I don't want a baby...I don't want a dead baby...shit I don't even want an adopted baby" she wept "Beck...I know you want to get rid of this situation but but but" she stammered 

"It's ok" he put his hand on top of hers and looked lovingly in her eyes...a complete change in character 

"I don't want an abortion" she whispered

"If thats what you want" he gulped "Then we won't get one" he tried to hide his dis-satisfaction 

"I love you..." she reached out 

"Yeah you too" he pecked her on the cheek

Both Jade and Dr McNeanen couldn't read Beck's emotion...did he want the baby? did he care about Jade?

"I'll book your next appointment sweetheart" Dr McNeanen handed her a slip of paper "It will get easier ok" she said guiding them out of the door

Beck drove him and Jade to a nearby diner for ice-cream 

"I'm sorry about this" she laughed awkwardly as they sat down

"Its ok" he shrugged "Craving's are tough I guess" he still felt awkward around her

They sat in silence eating their icecream until Jade finally broke the ice

"You know...I'm starting to show"

"Oh yeah?"

"I guess we will have to start telling people" she gulped

"hmmm" he said scrolling through his phone

"Beck?" Jade shouted across the table 

"Huh?" he looked up

"You don't want this baby do you?" her eyes started to water 

"Uhhh....sure" he hesitated 

"It's ok Beck...we'll be fine without you" she rested her hand on her hardened abdomen

"J don't be like this"

"be like what?" she screamed and people started to look "Beck if you can't love this child...then you can't love me! WE'RE OVER" she stormed out of the diner and Beck watched as she clambered into a taxi and sped off into the streets of LA

Tori, Cat and Jade sat on the floor of Cat's bedroom eating pizza and talking 

"...the truth is...i'm considering raising it myself" Jade smiled

"REALLY?" Cat and Tori stared in disbelief

"Yeah...I guess being a mom won't be too bad...I have plenty of time to raise it then still be young enough to continue my life in 18 years time" she chuckled

"Jade you'll be a great mom" Tori smiled

"Single mom" Jade put her hand on her stomach and felt a slight twinge of pain but ignored it

"Do you think our due dates will be the same" Tori asked

"We did conceive them on the same evening" Jade rolled her eyes

"Me and Robbie did...I don't know about you two" Cat giggled

"I know it was that night I told Beck to risk it" Jade hit her hand against her head to highlight her foolishness 

"I was too drunk to even remember protection" Tori cringed 

"OW" Jade interrupted

"Are you ok?"

"No..." Jade said doubling over in pain 

"Whats going on?" Cat trembled 

Jade stood up to reveal a patch of blood underneath her

"SHIT" Her and Tori's eyes widened 

"Should I drive us to the hospital?" Cat sniffed...
