Layla POV
I woke up this morning feeling extremely tired because of last night.
As I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth I heard a notification go off on my phone.
Vanessa😜
Hey girl! Want us to pick you up?
I smiled at the thought of not walking since my parents are always gone and I didn't have a car.
Sure! Thx😊
I texted back.
I walked to my closet and pulled out a comfortable outfit (outfit on the top or side cuz I'm too lazy to describe it ;P)
Perfect!
Just in time I heard a honk outside so I ran downstairs and grabbed an apple from the kitchen basket, put on my brown combat boots and locked the door seeing the twins car on the driveway.
"Hey, good morning!" I said as I opened and closed the door.
"Hey took you long enough. " They chuckled.
On the way,we sang our hearts out, terribly might I add, to the songs on the radio.
When we reached school we went up to our usual spot seeing everybody there already.
"Hey guys! I need to go to the washroom real quick." I said
As I walked through the hallway I bumped into someone hard.
"Sorry!" I quickly apologized.
"Hey you're that girl I saved!"he mentioned. Oh yah I remember him.
"Well hi my name is Layla." I smiled
"Ok my name is Lucas." He smiled (not from GMW)
"Well nice meeting you! I have to go to the washroom really quick." I hurried.
" 'Kay bye!" He waved.
"Bye." I said as I ran to the washroom. After I did my business, I walked back to the spot and just in time the bell rang.
School went by normally and before I knew it the bell rand for dismissal. I went to my locker and put my things away, when I heard a knock on the locker besides mine. I turned to look and it was Lucas.
"Hi!"I said nicely.
"Hey, you want me to drive you home, we live on the same street." He asked.
"Sure, let me tell my friends. You can come with me." I said trying to find the twins and the boys. Once I found them at our spot I walked up to them.
"Hey guys this is Lucas. "He waved and said "hi".
"Oh and Roni and Nessa you guys don't have to drive me home today, Lucas lives on the same street as me." I told them.
"Ok, be safe." They said as I turned around walking off with Lucas but not before I caught the twin smirking and raising their eyebrows at me. It rolled my eyes as I got in the passenger seat which was already open from Lucas .
The ride back was quiet but not uncomfortable. After 10 minutes I saw the familiar street as he pulled up into my driveway.
"Thanks for giving me a ride, bye" I said as I got out.
"No problemo and see you tomorrow!" He said
I smiled and unlocked my door into an empty house. I frowned knowing my parents were still at work again and I'm all alone.
I walked to my room and grabbed my pjs and walked to the bathroom turning on the shower. After my shower I changed and hopped onto my bed. Before I could check my phone, I fell asleep with a smile on my face thinking about all the events today.
