Veronica POV

I read the message twice to make sure I was reading it right. After going over it, I grabbed my car keys and hopped it. I was so worried. Thoughts raced through my head and it was hard to focus on the road, I realized I was going a bit under the limit and the car behind me honked, causing me to snap out of my thoughts and focus on the road. Once I reached his house, I texted him I'm here so he would have a heads up. Then o got out and walked to the door, ringing the doorbell. He quickly opened the door and I saw his red puffy eyes and his slouched form.

"What's wrong babe?" I asked really worried. I've never seen him like this before, he wraps his arms around me and squeezes me tightly like he's never going to see me again. I hold on to him as well and we stayed in each others arms for a while. As much as I loved to be like this all day, I needed to know what was going on. After a couple seconds we let go and I looked him in the eyes. His usual bright blue eyes filled with happiness and joy were now drained to sadness and pain.

"What's wrong? Why did you call me over?" I said again, wanting to know what the reason for his cure self was.

"Devan got in a car accident and he's in the hospital." He said before choking out a quiet little sob. I immediately pull him to me and pat his back while he cries a little on my shoulder. He takes me inside and I sit on the couch with him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know." I said feeling sorry for him. If Nessa ever got in a car accident I would be worried sick. "Want to go visit him?" I asked hoping it would make him feel better. I decided not to ask him how serious it was since he probably wouldn't be able to answer without crying.

"Yeah thanks." He said quietly. I take his hand and take him to my car. Once I got in I drove to the hospital and got out with Collins's hand in mine. I walked up to the front desk and asked for Devan Keys room number.

"What relation do you have with him?" The receptionist said nicely.

"I'm his brothers girlfriend and Im taking him to visit Devan." I said.

"Okay, his room number is room 189"." She said with a smile. I smiled back at her and went to look for room 189. After we found it I saw the room and let Collins go in first so they can have some family time while I sat down on the chairs and waited. I could only imagine what kind of pain he is going through right now.

I waited until I heard the door open next to me to see Collins walking out and sit down next t me. "Sorry for putting you through all this trouble, I just really need comforting right now." He said sadly. "Don't worry about it, I'll always be here for you. Whatever reason it is" I said rubbing his back. "The doctors said it was a truck that hit him and he has some damage in his mhead so it will be hard for him to recover his short term memory." He said sniffling a bit. I felt so bad for him. He must be hurting right now. "Les get you home, you need to sleep."I said.

"No, I'm going to stay here until he wakes up. " Collins stated.

"We'll come back tomorrow. You need some rest." I said calmly. He sighed,
"Fine, but we have to come back tomorrow." He said defeated. "I promise."

We get in the car and I start driving to his house. I walk him to his door, kiss his cheek and we say goodbye. I then get back into the car and drove home. On the way through I noticed the candy store. I think about it then I park my car and went in. The whole shop was bright and colorful with every candy you can think of. I walk over to the gummy section and got his favorite sour gummies. I payed at the front desk. The decor in here is all colorful and the desk is a giant chocolate bar. Honestly, this is probably my favorite store. "Thank you. " I said as I walked out the door.

Once I get home I do my night routine and go to sleep.

Vanessa POV

BEEP BEEP BEEP
"Uuggh!" I groaned as I felt around with my hand until I dismally found my phone. After I turn the alarm off, I check my social media and massages. I had one message from 30 minutes ago.
