Veronica POV
I woke up with my muscles aching and a slight headache. I must've fallen asleep in the floor last night. As I open my eyes I see nothing but darkness. I frantically looked around for my sister but had no success because I couldn't see a single thing in here.
"Nessa? Are you there?" I called out quietly.
I heard a groan come from the right of me so I slowly crawled over there until I hit something.
"Roni?" She called out barely above a whisper.
"I'm right here Nessa, I'm right here." I say trying to keep her from panicking.

When we were younger, we would prank each other all the time. On time when we were 10 I locked her in a closet and turned off the light. She started yelling at me and calling for mom and dad but after awhile, it stopped. I didn't hear her anymore so I opened the door to check on her. I'm not that heartless.
A small ray of light shone through the gap and got bigger and bigger as I opened the door more. I saw that Nessa was laying beside the door and she was, what looked like to me, sleeping. So I decided to wake her up and tell her that she could come out now but she wouldn't budge. After a while I just called my mom and told her what happened. She was taken to the emergency room and we later found out that she had an extreme phobia of being trapped in completely dark rooms.

As I helped her up we heard a door from behind us open. We immedia turned around and we saw a man there about our age, standing at the doorway looking around until his eyes landed on us.
He smirked and slowly started approaching us. Too scared to move, we just stood there looking at the man until he spoke.
"I see you've waken up" he says slyly.
"Where are we and what do you want from us?" I asked with all the strength I had left in my body.
"Well you see, your boyfriends"-he said with a sour tone,"made a deal with me and my gang and they didn't fully keep up their end of the bargain,
GANG?! I mentally shouted. WHAT 'DEAL'?! I was so confused. They never told us any of this.
"Well that has nothing to do with us!" Nessa finally spoke.
"Actually, it has everything to do with you two. You guys are the reason they made the deal in the first place!" He said calmly until he saw our very confused faces.
"Oh, they didn't tell you about any this, did they?" He smirked.
"This is gonna be fun"
