Kristen POV
Oh my gosh, I'm late to the meeting. I'm supposed to be back with the updates on Veronica and Vanessa but I'm running late and they're gonna kill me.
I turn on the next left of the sidewalk, and see the familiar tall trees that reach up to the sky, blocking the sun from my view. The leaves left open space for small, narrow rays of sunshine to glow down to the pavement. As I walk forward I see a small cabin that was a little old looking. Hearing dumb faint mumbling from outside the door made me realize that everyone was probably already there.
I opened the door to reveal that I was right. Everyone stared at me and I awkwardly walked towards the other door that was a couple steps ahead. Entering the room, I saw Josh, Damian, and our boss, Eric.
I sat down in the chair next to Damian and faced Eric. As I looked down a bit, he asked,
"So, got anything?"

As Vanessa and Veronica walked down the hallway, they heard fast footsteps. They didn't think anything if it since it could just be someone late to class.
As the footsteps got closer to them someone called their names.
"Veronica, Vanessa!" A familiar voice called to them.
They turned around and saw Layla. "Hey Layla!"
"Hey guys, I've been looking everywhere for you guys!"She spoke sounding like she ran a million k marathon. That's Layla for you.
"Why did you need us for something?" Vanessa said chuckling at how tired she was.
"I need help deciding on what to wear for my first date with Lucas tomorrow" she said nervously.
"OMG he asked you out?!?" The girls said at the same time.
"Um, yeah" Layla said smiling, thinking about when Lucas asked her out.
flashback (Layla POV)

I was currently sitting at home on the couch, binge watching the episodes of Quantico, not even thinking about the stack of homework I have. When I was just about to get up to make some popcorn, I heard a knock at the door.
I opened it to see Lucas standing there with a rose in his hand. Lately we've been hanging out a lot. I actually got to learn a lot about him. I found out that he has two older sisters that are in uni, he plays soccer, well, unfortunately the soccer tryouts already ended, and some other things like his favorites and his hobbies.
I get out of my little trance and look back at him. Not gonna lie, he looked nice. He was wearing a black leather jacket with a white shirt underneath find some black ripped jeans with vans.
"Are you done checking me out?" He said with a smirk. Yup and there he is.
"I wasn't checking you out" I lied, narrowing my eyes at him. I got kind of embarrassed because I was just wearing a oversized hoodie that went mid thigh and short shorts.
"Well, uh, I came to ask you," he started.
Ask me what? I started getting nervous. Maybe he'll finally ask me out. Or what if he's just asking me to leave him alone forever because I've just been too annoying to hang around for the past couple of days.
"Would you like to go on a date with me on Friday?"
OMG OMG OMG OMFFFGG
Wait, Layla, don't sound like a crazy girl.
"Of course!"I smiled. Oh no, was that too desperate.
"Oh and I got this for you" he said handing me the rose. My smile got to big it probably looked like I was plotting an evil plan against someone. You never know...
After we he stayed for a couple minutes and then left because he had a family dinner, I jumped around silently screaming in my head. I did a little happy dance probably looking retarded. Good thing my parent come home late. Because if they saw that dance, they probably wouldn't want to come home at all.

Sorry I've not updated but it's really hard. I want to update and I have lots of ideas for this book but it's hard to write the things in between. Sometimes I just want to jump right to the next thing but j can't just do that or this would be really crappy. Well, crappier than it already is but, you get the point. I'll try to update as much as I can because I have to go on a cruise soon and there's NO FREAKING WIFI OB THERE LIKE HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LIVE?!
But yeah that it for now
