After our exciting time at the pitch, we all ended up going to a movie theater. I pretty much had to drag Jay, Emily, and Greg into the theater, because I wanted to go see a scary movie, and I don't think they wanted to. I ended up getting the largest container of popcorn you could get and a pop, and the others got candy and pop. As we were waiting in line, I could feel the eyes of some of the youtubers behind us in line. I shuffled my body a little.
"So, Bailey," Simon started, making me turn around, "are y'all going to go see the childish movie?" He sassed. I stared at him and held up my ticket. He read my ticket. "Oh, so you like scary huh?"
"Yes, and childish movies are okay," I defended. The person at the counter handed me the huge popcorn container and pop.
"Are you gonna scream like a little baby?" He asked and I scoffed.
"Um no, but I know you're gonna," I challenged.
"We'll see about that," he took a piece of popcorn from the container, and I quickly pulled the container away from him.
"Hey! This is mine," I defended.
"Really? All of it?" He laughed.
"NOPE," Jay walked in front of me and took a huge handful of popcorn. I glared at him. "Because you didn't share those crisps earlier," Jay smirked.
"Ugh- whatever." I said, defeated. Simon, along with Joe Sugg, Caspar, JJ, and Calfreezy, then got their concessions. I was actually surprised Caspar came along, because I don't think I've ever seen him in a football video before, unless I missed it. I still tried not to fangirl when I saw them there.
We made our way from the concession stand to the ticket person, who made sure we had our tickets. She told us to go to our left to theater 2, which we did. We walked into the dim, preview-filled room to a row in the middle and going all the way to the wall, me sitting by it.
I went on my phone for a while like the three others did, and I updated my twitter and snapchat. When I was on snapchat, I realized that most of the youtubers added me back. That was crazy! I never thought they would really trust me in doing that, let alone text me! I could expose Simons number to the world... no I'm not that mean, but I smirked at the thought.
Sooner or later the group of immature boys came in the theatre, and sat in our same row on purpose. I slowly leaned in to stare at them, and when their eyes met mine, I lifted my eyebrows.
"Really," I bluntly questioned.
"What, we got the right to sit where ever right? Just because I'm black doesn't mean you-!" JJ ranted which made everyone laugh and probably upset the random people around us.
"Okay okay fine," I replied shoving a handful of popcorn in my mouth. "I'll get a better view of Simon being a baby," I shot back. I also get a better view of his wonderful face, I thought.
Throughout the jump scares and haunted movie, I was eating my popcorn and drinking my Dr. Pepper. I soon had to pee.
"I'm going to the bathroom," I whispered to Emily next to me. I got up, and on my way out, I noticed Simon was concentrated on the screen and didn't see me coming. I moved my hands slowly, making their way in front of his face and made a huge clap to scare him, which I did. He screamed like a baby and popcorn jumped out of the bag he was holding.
"What the hell Bailey!" He yelled and punched me. I just laughed and made my way out, passing JJ and Caspar who were also laughing. Got eeem, I thought.
I went to the bathroom and made my way back to the theater and searched for the row I was sitting in, which I did. Moving by the boys' seats, I realized Simon had left too, until I found him in my seat eating my popcorn. I stared and him.
"Hello there," he grinned. I took the container out from his hands, took a handful and threw it at him.
"Okay okay I'll move," he surrendered. I smiled a fake smile and let him by, but couldn't see my face because of the dark theater. I then sat down and enjoyed the rest of the horrific movie, thinking about how childish Simon actually was.
~~~~~~~~~
"Dude! You did scream like a little girl!" I argued at Simon as we walked out of the theater. I swear I heard him scream at one of the most scary parts, other than when I scared him.
"Well yeah so did you," he shyly said. I wasn't screaming, I don't think scary movies are scary, they're funny.
"I was laughing!" I scoffed. Simon seemed to be walking sassier.
"Mmhmm, suuuree," he sassed.
"You literally sound like a 10 year old," I said. We made it to the main movie area, the aroma of popcorn around us.
"Exactly," he ended with a grin, which made me grin. His smile is always contagious. Well, everyone's smile is contagious to me. But his is different.
