(Warning you right now it gets intense at the end 😈)
"Ayy I got it to work!" I cheered as I successfully found Youtube on the smart t.v in our room.
"Oh good! I'm bringing more crisps over," she added as she searched the little kitchen for more food to binge on. She soon came back over and slumped on the couch as she threw all the bags of crisps on the coffee table. I laughed at the many bags there were, but knowing us they'll probably be gone soon enough.
"Alrightie, here it is... and play," I slowly said as I pressed play on the remote to start the football video on the Sidemen channel. After our little gossip talk, Emily and I decided to just watch YouTube videos, as we had nothing else to do. Emily and I quickly grabbed a bag from the table and gladly opened it as the video from yesterday rolled through the intro of everyone interrupting Simon. Soon enough, I was dragged into the camera shot by Simon, awkwardly eating the bag of crisps I had.
"Oh my gosh that was so embarrassing," I said rubbing a hand down the side of my face. Emily laughed next to me.
"I thought that was awesome, I'm jealous you were in one of their football videos," she encouraged, trying to make it not sound as bad, which I guess worked a little.
"Yeah, and we'll be in a couple of Vik's vlogs," I added, keeping my eyes fixed to the screen as JJ completely went at Joe's feet to mess him up, making their contagious laughs spread through our room.
"I can't believe this was only yesterday," I commented as I shoved a crisp in my mouth.
"I know, it feels like it's been a week since we- I mean, they filmed this," she added along with me. We watched through the whole video, as life replayed itself, pointing out things that were hilarious or stupidly-funny. I could also see Harry and myself sending competition glares to each other along with Ethan and Simon. Soon, a song came up in the background as I was up against Manny. I remembered picking out that song when I was helping Simon edit, practically begging him to let me add it.
"Hey I remember making Simon add that song in while we were editing," I happily blurted. Emily turned her head to me as the video went on. I looked her way, now seeing that she was confused.
"What do you mean you made Simon add that song in while you two were editing?" She questioned, now knowing that I haven't told her another thing about Simon and I. Shit, I forgot about that. I paused the video so I could talk.
"I totally forgot to say this to you; Simon and I were supposed to go and plan stuff out for the match but it wasn't really important so we edited that video together instead. We also watched a movie and I fell asleep on his spare bed, and at like 6 this morning we went on a walk and got coffee," I summed up. I left out the part about me almost dying and seeing him. I could still feel it on my chest, but I ignored it.
"REALLY? AND YOU WERE GONNA FORGET ABOUT THAT?" She yelled with amusement, obviously surprised. I could already feel our hotel neighbors hating us and the hollow walls here.
"I know, I don't know how I forgot that," I agreed with her. I looked down at the bag I was getting the crisps from, continuously throwing them in my mouth and realizing it was now empty. I was sad now.
"I know why, because you two have done too much together already. It was meant to be," she dazed as she thought of a happily ever after story, which was not at all real.
"Or I need to spend more time with other people," I also suggested. That wasn't something I would've said before this all; spend more time with other people, that is. Now I feel like I should go and be everybody's best friend. Emily gave an unsatisfied groan.
