Memory loss was only one of many temporary things— the friendship between Bailey and Simon was only temporary, and so was the time at Bailey's old school, and the horrible event before the match, and, sadly, staying at the Sidemen house was a temporary event. Along with that, on a more recent note, Bailey's trips to the doctor were only temporary. She realized that once she finally stepped out of the plastic-smelling London doctors office for the last time, she then smelled the freedom and joy of finally leaving.

Simon and Bailey walked hand-in-hand down the sidewalk towards Simon's car, but as they headed toward the parking lot, Simon jerked Bailey's hand away and directed her a different direction; toward the middle of London.

"Okay well where are we going now?" Bailey said in a somewhat agitated tone, not fond of surprises. She looked up to Simon, who was grinning and looking forward. They both looked into the heart of the city, Simon wrapping his arms around the front of Bailey, realizing how luck he was to have her.

"Well, I thought we would celebrate the last adventure to the doctors and go get some ice cream, just you and I, no cameras or friends. Just boyfriend and girlfriend doing boyfriend and girlfriend things," Simon said in the sweetest tone to Bailey, making Bailey's smile only grow larger.

Since that day, since those kisses, Simon and Bailey made it official; they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Although they may have wanted a little more than just kisses that night, they knew that too much at one heated moment would've been too much for Bailey's memory-expanding brain, so instead they cuddled and Simon listened to every fascinating memory that came out of her beautiful mouth, along with wiping the tears, hearing the laughs, and feeling the happiness and love.

"Let me guess— you want a cup of mint chocolate chip ice cream," Simon said to Bailey, who then gave Simon a look of 'of course you knew that'.

"And let's see— you probably want— hm, probably dick flavored, am I right?" Bailey sarcastically said back, forgetting that they were in a public place, but good thing the people in front of them in line weren't paying attention. Simon let out a small chuckle.

"Yes, exactly." He replied, looking over and into Baileys eyes, and she did the same. "I'm gonna miss this," He also added, making Bailey sigh and cause her mood to shift from its happy state.

Because it was Bailey's last doctors appointment and check, she got an okay to travel home safely. It may sound like good news, but was sad news for others.

"I'm gonna miss this too. But I also think it's kinda funny that Jay's doing all the packing while we're here getting ice cream, because all of our shit is everywhere in the house. Sorry bout that," Bailey said back. She began to stare into space, not really realizing what was gonna happen in the next day's time—she was gonna be gone, away from Simon. Away from the boy who was once a stranger, but now her lover. And just like that, Bailey's happiness drained out of her body, like a pool being drained of its happy water.

As Simon told the cashier what he wanted, and soon looked over to Bailey, confused as to why she wasn't ordering her ice cream. He gently elbowed her, taking her out of her trance.

"Oh—sorry. I'll have a small cup of just plain chocolate," Bailey said in a small voice. Simon furrowed his eyebrows in concern as to why her mood all of a suddenly plummeted to sadness. Simon quickly paid with his card, and they waited for their ice cream.
