A/N: so here's the tea, I wrote this in eight grade and in a junior in highschool now soooo.... Keep reading I swear I'm not this bad anymore. I like to keep my work to reflect on it.
"Today I'm going to tell all you young ones the story of how I became to be part of this rock. It started a long, long, long, time ago when I was just a youngling..."
"It started out with me, just sitting along side the Colorado River. We've all seen the River here, back then, I was scared of it. I liked my little spot by the river, I never wanted to leave. However, my time there was short. I had only been there a couple hundred years, when a massive rainstorm hit.
There was water everywhere. I could here my brothers and sisters cry out fright! As soon as I heard them, I panicked! I hadn't moved in two hundred years! I heard the crashing! Roaring! Growling sound of the water behind me! You weren't there! You have no idea how horrible it was!
I felt the water behind me come crashing down upon me! It demanded that I move!
I cried out in terror "I DON'T WANT TO, I DON'T WANT TO!"
It didn't listen. Instead it pushed me along till I reached the side of a cliff! The water oh the water! It pushed me off! I felt as though I had hit every bump, every jagged rock that was on the cliff! Before I hit the ground, I noticed that I had lost weight! I was now the size of a small pebble!
I thought I was going to hit solid ground. But NO!! I fell into the river! The blasted river! I felt myself slowly sinking to the bottom! The place I fell is the place I stayed until the River moved me along.
I don't remember much about that time, I only knew I was herded along the river for years. By the time I had stopped, I was only a small grain of sand.
Now let me tell you something, being a small grain of said is not fun. I sat their while others fell on top of me. Then we sat their. It got heavier and heavier. I can't even remember how long I sat there. I really don't.
To say the least, I don't like confined spaces, they are horrible. You have no idea to how I felt with the spaces slowly came caving in. It was horrible!!
Within the next ten million years or so, we all cane together as one rock.
"And that young ones is the story of my life as a rock."
