Morning came too slowly. Cass opened her eyes. Everything was out of focus. Jared rolled over. She looked at him. His face came into focus. His eyes had bags under them as if he hadn't been sleeping much. His cheek bones stood out. He probably hadn't been eating much either. His skin looked stretched. He had been stressed alot lately. Then again she had been in a sleep-coma for a while.

Jared's eyes opened. He looked right into hers. Jared smiled. Cassy smiled back. And kissed him. Hard. She hugged him and held him tight. It felt so good to have him in her arms. To feel him, see him. To be with him. Right there and then. That's all she wanted. To be with Jared. Never let go and never leave.
Jared pulled her closer. He kissed along her jaw lowering himself to her neck.
"Jared," whispered Cassy.
"Shh, we've got time," answered Jared.
"Hmm okay," came her soft answer.
He continued planting light, long kisses all along her shoulders then moving back toward her neck, jaw and then her lips once again. Her lips parted hungrily. He explored her mouth and she explored his. He kissed her tenderly. Cass pulled him closer and kissed him with such desire it almost hurt to restrain herself.

She let her hands explore his body. His wide shoulders. His chest. Every part that she could reach. Jared stifled a sigh. Her hands were like heaven on his skin. Her touch was his drug. Her smile was his reason for waking. And her love? Her love was his reason for being. It was him.

There was a soft knock on the door. Cassy moaned as she rolled over and walked to answer it. She opened the door to see Clarissa standing in front of her.

"Mom?"
"Cassy? My baby!"
Clarissa pulled her daughter closer and hugged her as tears of joy ran down her cheeks.
Jace ran out into the hallway and jumped as he saw his daughter.
"Cassy," said Jace as he ran to embrace her.
Andrea and Nick joined them in the hallway and had their turns hugging Cass.

Finally. They had her back. They had their Cass. And they'd be damned if they had to lose her again. They spent the day celebrating and laughing. When night came round Cass git ready for bed. She stepped into the shower. Cass let the water run over her as she washed away all the dread of the past few days. She was joined by Jared.

"Space for one more?" He asked.
Cass nodded as she let him in. He stepped in next to her and closed the shower door. He turned toward Cass. She smiled up at him as he took the soap from its holder.
"May I?" Asked Jared.
"You may," answered Cass.
Jared began to run his hands over her body. Cassy sighed. She trembled with pleasure. Jared continued exploring even more of her. She leaned against him. It was nice. Good. It was more than she could ever have imagined.

Soon after they were in bed and Cass couldn't fall asleep fast enough. She was drained. She might have been unconscious the whole time but she never rested. She only had those stupid Visions. Tonight she would sleep well. She would sleep deep. She would rest. Jared held her close as she fell asleep. Their breathing became one. They slept soundly.

The days passed quickly after that and before they knew it they were back at school.
"Cassy!" Screamed Esmé as she closed her locker.
"Hi Esmé. How was your break?" Asked Cass.
"Good and yours?" Asked Esmé.
"Too short," said Cass with a laugh.
"Yeah, it could have been longer but hey at least we can see each other again now," said Esmé.
"True," said Cass.
"So tell me what have you and Jared been up to?" Asked Esmé as they walked to first period.
The two girls chatted all the way until lunch, where they greeted and Cass went to find Jared.

"Hey," said Cass.
"Hey," said Jared as he kissed her lightly.
"How was your day so far?" Asked Cass.
"Weird. It feels like a dream. Being back at school definitely feels different," said Jared.
"Hmm, it does. Like we're on another planet and the last three weeks didn't happen," said Cass.
"Well at least we're here now," said Jared.
"At least," said Cass.
