Anton was up feeling lively, getting ready to meet up with Jay. He was putting on the suit that he bought yesterday. Just as Anton got his tie tied his phone rang, he picked it up. "Yeah Anton I'm up and good to go. Come and meet me at my place. Then we'll drive to the boss'." Jay hung up and immediately sent a text message with his address.
How very straight and to the point. Not even a good morning I like him.
Anton clumsily walked himself out his apartment and down the stairs trying to avoid tripping on toy cars and the like. Something Anton is prone to do in an apartment filled with parents and their children.
Anton got into his car unlocked his phone, and slowly looked around for his GPS app and then typed in Jay's address. Jay lived in South Bronzebell, a short drive away.
You've lived here your whole life and still haven't figured out how to get around. Well it's not that I don't know it's like directional security. And maybe I have a crush on the GPS lady. Her voice is soothing.
Anton pulled up half a block from the car filled road that held Jay's home. Anton took a calm stroll down the street admiring the neighborhood. Jay for being a criminal lived in a nice neighborhood. He rang the doorbell. "Just come in the door's unlocked," Jay yelled from within the house. Anton walked in. Couldn't help but notice the houses decor.
Wow this place is really nice. It's pretty well decorated. Yeah I didn't know Jay was a girl, or gay.
Anton sighed.
I like the layout it's really quaint. Meh.
Anton walked nonchalantly down the hallway. He noticed some family pictures of Jay with some woman he never met before and a newborn baby. Anton stopped and looked at one picture of Jay and this woman alone. The picture made it quite clear that they were a couple.
Wow they're both so cute and happy together. Yeah but it's just one picture Anton.
He reached out and lightly touched the picture.
Exactly. Imagine them not as a still frame. I'm with you all the time Anton. I understand what you're feeling better than anyone.
Jay walked in as Anton was looking at the picture. "Oh that's Carissa. We got married a few months ago. She decorated the house actually," Jay informed Anton. Anton shook his head. Jay grabbed a picture of the baby alone. "This is Brian. He's made Carissa the happiest girl I know. We decided to get married right after he was born," Jay said with the picture in hand. "Where are Brian and Carissa now?" Anton asked. "Oh Carissa's at work and Brian's at his babysitter's," Jay answered. Anton quickly glanced at the picture again. "They seem great. What you do can be dangerous Jay. Keep your family close," Anton told Jay. "Yeah man-" Jay paused for a second. "-okay let's head out now."
