a/n: yall i just reread this book 2 years later and i am so sorry of how cringe it can be at first 😭 this was one of my first books so i apologize. warning tho this book starts out very light and sweet but eventually gets very dark.
Jungkook POV
We all gathered around the computer screen in anticipation. Today we released our new comeback, 'Spring Day'. I have to admit, it was vastly different from Blood Sweat and Tears, but it holds a much more special meaning to me. It has that nostalgic feel to it, and I like that.
"Ahh Jungkook, are you gonna watch or not?" Said Jimin.
"Aish I am. Play it Jin."
I smiled as I saw the beginning where Tae was sprawled against the train tracks. My observation of the scene was quickly interrupted when Namjoon said,
"Ahh Taehyung this is why I always hear squishy shounds coming from your room right? You keep on blowing your nose cause you got sick from shooting this scene?" He smirked.

V blushed, "WAHH KIM NAMJOON THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO BE A PERVERT"
Suddenly Suga interrupted, "Can yall stop talking about touching your damn tootsie rolls? Shut up and watch the video."
"Tsk tsk, kids." I heard Jin say under his breath.
Our focus quicky returned to the video. We all clapped as the ending scene with Jimin holding the shoes came. HAHA armys will never know THEE truest of the truth. But damn do I love their theories.
"But Hoseok," Jimin started, "Were you really okay with only having background vocals this time?"
Jhope just chucked, "For the last time, I am. Don't worry, I already have a lot in this album, one song without me won't hurt."
We smiled at him, but weren't really conviced. There was an awkward silence after that.
"Ey have you guys heard of that new girl group from YG that's debuting?" Jin said.
(LETS PRETEND BLACKPINK IS GOING TO DEBUT AFTER SPRING DAY OKAY)
"What? New girl group?" I asked
"Yeah, YG has been promoting them a lot. I think they have four members."
Suga scoffed, "Watch it be just another typical girl group. They either try to be too cutesy or too sexy."
"Right," said Jimin, "It's kinda sad that that's what sells nowadays, perverted men are in heaven with these types of girl groups."
Jimin's word left me thinking, we're bashing them for being cliche but we debuted with a cliche concept. Wanting to be a stereotypical hip hop group with a bad boy image. I'm glad we grew and became who we are now. And unlike other groups, we don't just talk about love and sex. We try to give our music a much deeper meaning. And I'm really glad some people do appreciate that. But some fans don't really care, and that doesn't make the satisfaction of our fame that grand to be honest.
"Jungkook, are you okay? You've been a bit off lately." Jhope said, and everyone nodded in agreement.
"Huh? Oh nothing's wrong, I'm fine. Why would you say that?" I reassured him, and gave him a smile.
"Just asking..."
He was right though, I've been thinking about a lot of stuff lately...
"So when does this girl group debut?" Namjoon asked.
"That's the thing, it's tomorrow."
