Chapter 8 | Big Surprise

Jennie POV

Umm...

Am I dreaming or arE WE ACTUALLY GOING TO MEET BTS WTF.

So our manager called telling me that YG wanted us to become acquaintances with Bangtan. He said it would help with publicity which makes this much less desirable than it already is. I do not want to talk to these boys for the sake of money. But alas I can't do anything but obey. Sometimes I wonder how my life would be if I hadn't become a trainee...

But going back to BTS, I REALLY need to tell the girls this. They went out for groceries and asked me to tag along, but I declined since it's pretty cloudy outside and I don't like going out in this kind of weather. It's about to be an hour since they got out and I'm about to call them to let them know this. But nahh they need to hear this in person.

As if they answered my pleads, they came bursting through the door, "Jennie we're here!" Exclaimed Jisoo.

3rd Person POV

Jennie smiled, "Finally, I need to tell you guys something really import-"

Rose interrupted, "OMG guys did you hear that Crybaby was playing at the store!"

Jisoo immediately jumped, "WHAT. Why didn't know one tell me anything?? I WAS THE ONE TO INTRODUCE YALL TO MELANIE YOU KNOW."

Lisa chimed in, "Wow unnie, if that's true you should've recognized it on the 1st beat."

"It's not that I couldn’t recognize it it's that I was the ONLY one actually doing the shopping because you lazy asses were busy smelling all the shampoos." Jisoo replied.

Jennie was starting to get impatient, "Okay guys nobody as-

Rose giggled, "You should've told-

"LET ME TALK MAN" Yelled Jennie.

"Jesus Jennie chill, what could possibly be so important." Lisa said.

Jennie exhaled, "Shut your mouths and hear me out. YG called and apparently we have a dinner "date" with a boygroup."

Jisoo raised her eyebrows, "And that group is??"

"BTS"

Jennie looked around at all their faces and laughed at how shocked they seemed. Finally Rose spoke up, "EXCUSE ME. BTS?? As in Bangtan Seonyodan? Huh, well this is gonna be interesting."

Lisa already was starting to worry, "But this is gonna be so awkward! We don't know them and they don't know us! How is this going to look natural because I'm sure they already scheduled some media there."

"RIGHT. I mean one dinner with them probably won't hurt much but we're such dorks and what if they're personalities suck ass IM COMMITING" said Jisoo.

"Not to mention what we're gonna wear. Plus all the rumors we will have to deal with. UGHH!" Complained Rose.

Jennie started fidgeting, "And that's not the worst part girls, we GENUINELY have to become friends with them, or at least acquaintances."

Jisoo burst out laughing while everyone looked at her weirdly, "BAHAHA you're joking... right??" Her smile soon faded as everyone else looked at her seriously.

"Umm no. That's exactly what he said." Answered Jennie.

"But then there's so many things that don't make sense. We have a dating ban, that they enforce very much. This might make us lose a large part of our male audience if this becomes a scandal. Not to mention the possibility, and I repeat the POSSIBILITY that we develop feelings for them. Which is HIGHLY unlikely and NEVER happening but still." Jisoo ranted.

Jennie looked at everyone worriedly, "You don't know how many times I've went over that thought too. But I guess YG knows what he's doing. For now, let's just go with the flow."

They all nodded. "So when is this meeting going to be?" Lisa asked.

"On Friday."

They all let out startled shrieks. "But that's in 2 days! We're going to have to go to the mall tomorrow." Rose said.

"Yes, does everyone have their credit cards?" Jennie asked.

"Yess! Yay to shopping!"
