Dylan

It took about twenty seconds for Dylan to draw a conclusion- the Fields of Asphodel were seriously freaking boring. Everything was exactly the same. None of the souls there could speak-at least not intelligently. So it was a bit of a shock when Dylan and his group met two girls who seemed perfectly normal.

The girls were walking together, seemingly arguing about something, trying to walk up to Hades' palace. Dylan noticed them first, and motioned to the rest of the group. As they got closer, he could see that one of the girls had taken off, backing up quickly, desperate to remain unseen. She disappeared within five seconds, Dylan unable to track her.

The other girl was walking towards him, more confident than anything. She had medium length brown hair, had a little chub that Dylan found extremely cute (he immediately mentally slapped himself in the face for thinking that, reminding himself that he had a fully-functioning girlfriend, with arms and legs and everything), and she had brown eyes that glowed. She came to a stop in front of Dylan

"So," the girl started, messing with a headband that was placed carefully on her head. It seemed to give off a subtle light-actually, the girl seemed to shine in general.

"I'm Kaci Phillips. Fifteen. Apollo's daughter. The headband, and yes, I noticed you looking, turns into a sword. Oh, I'm also a little bit dead. Fighting Gaea and everything, not many demigods got out alive." she said, grinning like that was a completely normal thing to say.

Honestly, she looked pretty alive to Dylan. He looked down at her.

"So, if you're actually dead, then why can you talk? Why do you still have your memories? This isn't Elysium."

Kaci smiled again-yet another part of her that shined. "Hades' servant-slash-helper. I offered. He accepted. Here I am."

Gavin perked up and smiled from beside his half-asleep, 'kind-of girlfriend' Molly. Neither he or Sam seemed very bothered by the fact that the girl was dead.

"Well. Hey Kaci, I'm your half brother, Gavin. This is our little quest-group-thing. That's Molly, daughter of Zeus, Reilly, daughter of Poseidon, Paige, daughter of Hermes,  Dylan, son of Hades, and Sam, son of Hecate. We are all very much alive." They all greeted her kindly, with the exception of Molly, who just kind of grunted tiredly, falling back against Gavin.

Out of the corner of his eye, Dylan noticed the girl from before. While everyone else was crowded around Kaci, peppering her with questions, Dylan turned around, giving the girl a small wave. He was rewarded with a slight smile, her face framed by chin-length blond hair. Dylan reached out, grabbed Reilly's hand -ignoring the grin that spread across Molly's face when she noticed- and started off towards the girl.

When she noticed them coming, her face turned pale, and she began to back away again. Dylan wasn't about to let her get away again. He reached out and grabbed her upper arm, pulling her back toward him. He let go of Reilly's hand, and used his other arm to take hold of the girl's shoulder and spin her around, forcing her to face him.

"Hey, I'm Dylan, and that's Reilly...my girlfriend. I was wondering, why'd you leave? Why are you alone back here?" he asked the girl, who seemed slightly scared.

She snapped her head up, and looked straight at Dylan. Her stormy gray eyes looked broken beyond repair, like she'd been through way too much crap, and had given up on living.

"I don't fit in with your group. I don't fit in with anyone." she said, so quietly that Dylan almost didn't hear her. Reilly walked up a few steps so she was level with the two walking side by side, and smiled at the girl.
