Reilly

Reilly was beginning to get seriously annoyed. Ever since Dylan had opened the music door thing with the guitar, Paige had been asking about him nonstop. Reilly and Molly had been doing their best to answer her questions, but it was quickly wearing them both down. Molly was being a little less subtle about it than Reilly was. Every time Paige asked more than three questions in a row, she'd lean over slightly and shock her, but not enough that Paige would feel actual pain.

Even though Reilly wasn't sure why she was doing that (she and Dylan hadn't told anyone about 'them' yet) she couldn't say she minded.

'Was that you?" Paige said, her flow of questions stopping for once as she looked over at Molly, rubbing her newly shocked arm. Molly shrugged.

"Yeah, I'm sorry if I can't control it right now. It's slightly harder than shutting your mouth." Molly hissed. Reilly pushed down a smirk, forcing her face to remain neutral as Paige backed out of the guest room. They'd stayed at the palace the 'night' before (she still had no idea how the day/night cycle was supposed to work here), since they needed to prep for their adventure, which they'd discovered would involve a river of fire which would apparently keep them alive and jumping into a bottomless hole. Reilly felt an all-too-familiar sinking feeling take hold in her stomach.

"So." Reilly started, trying to keep her mind away from the little empty void that had appeared inside her ever since she'd found out that one of her friends was going to die.

"Why have you been shocking the crap out of Paige?" she asked, turning. Molly put on an innocent face.

"Who? Lil ol' me? Why I'd nevah! " Molly said with a southern accent. Reilly smirked at her.

"Oh, come on. I sat here for the last twenty minutes and watched you." Reilly said, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall next to the bed she slept on.

"She was being annoying. And she's probably planning on sinking my ship." Molly scoffed.

Reilly had no clue where she'd gotten that from. "Uhm, what do you mean your ship?" she asked, slightly apprehensive.

"You and Dylan." Molly said with a grin.

"...ship?"

"You know exactly what that means, you were on the internet just as much as I was."

"Yeah, but where'd you get the idea of me and Dylan? I mean-"

Molly cut Reilly off, "Anybody with eyes, Reilly. Anybody with eyes." she said, laughing. "It's so ridiculously obvious, it hurts. You and I both know you're together, and you should really stop denying it before I have to go and force it out of Dylan. No one wants that."

Reilly grinned sheepishly. "Well..." she said, stretching out the 'l'. "Maybe a little bit-"

Molly cut her off again. Her words hit Reilly with the speed of a freight train. "OH MY GOD I KNEW IT I KNEW IT I KNEW IT. HOLY CRAP THAT'S SO ADORABLE MY SHIP HAS SAILED. I APPROVE OF THIS." she said, doing a sort of dance. Out of nowhere, she froze in place and her expression went from extremely happy to a complete poker face. Reilly smiled slightly as Molly's voice went into a monotone. "I swear to the Lord, if Paige plans on sinking this amazing ship I will tear her apart and feed her to your pegasus." she said, looking completely serious.

Reilly broke down into laughter as Dylan threw open the doors and strutted in with the most ridiculous look on his face, which succeeded in making her laugh harder, causing him to grin as well. Meanwhile, Gavin trailed behind him, looking slightly embarrassed. The second he saw Molly, though, his face lit up and he smiled brightly. She smiled back, looking seriously happy.
