Chapter 8

"Hey wake up were going out." I heard someone say. "Iris come on." 

"Hmm?" I say opening an eye. I Shawn hovering over me. 

"Good morning beautiful." he said smiling down at me. 

"Hmm." I said turning to my side and closing my eyes again.

"Baby come on we have to go before the place gets full," He says grabbing my waist and pulling me up.

"Fine," I say. I go to get up, with my eyes closed, and then smack right into Shawn. "Ow." 

"Ow." We both say at the same time. 

"Sorry my bad." I say with a smirk.

"My fault for not moving out of the way." He said laughing. I get up and go to the bathroom. 

"Where are we going?" I say applying my eye liner and adding a wing.

"This pancake place about thirty minutes from here." He said walking in shirtless. I look away, applying my mascara. "Whats the matter?" He says. "Is my beauty to much for you." 

"No," I say blushing. "Memories thats all." I say smirking. This time he blushes. "Whats the matter? Cat got your tongue?" He laughs. 

"Why you little." He says grabbing me by the waist and kissing me. "Best night of my life." He said.

"I'm ready, let me just put clothes on." I opened one of the drawers that I had put my stuff in. Then I walked to Shawns closet, grabbed a flannel and tied it around me. 

"Is that mine?" I hear behind me.

"Yes it is your's." I say with a smirk. He sighs.

"Whats with it and girls taking her boyfriends clothes?" He says in a joking matter.

"You just smell really nice babe." I said trying to reach his cheek. He bent down and kissed me.

"Let's go." 

"Do you wanna take Aaliyah?" I asked.

"Hmm let's see if she's awake." He walked out, while I grabbed my purse. I met him downstairs in the kitchen. 

"Hi Karen." I say with a smile.

"Good morning honey." She says. "Are you guys headed of somewhere?" She said.

"Yeah I don't know where Shawn just told me to wake up. That reminds me is Aaliyah awake I thought we should take her?" 

"Oh no honey she's still asleep we were up pretty late." She said with a frown.

"Mom it's fine." Shawn said obviously only wanting it to be me and him. I laugh making them both turn to me. 

"Sorry, it's just Shawn's face made me laugh." I said. Karen laughed with me and he just glared at us. "Shawn let's go then I'm hungry." 

"Alright." He grabbed the car keys then my hand. "Bye mom." He yelled as we left the house.

"Your so mean." I say to him as he helps me up the car. 

"Why? "

"You didn't want your sister coming." 

"I wanted this to be special. A date since i'm back, I wanna spend every moment possible with you baby girl." He said closing my door and walking around. 

The drive there was mainly me and him screaming lyrics on the top of our lungs, and having the windows down. 

We walked out of the car hand in hand, he lifted his hoodie and I put a beanie on. Me and Shawn dating could come out two ways to the public.
