Cody felt yet another contration so he put his chin to his chest and pushed with all his might. While this was happening Doctor Mcswain counted "2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10." When she said "ten" Cody released his push. After this Chief put the rag in the bowl rung it out and wiped the sweat off of Cody's face and neck. Then said "you can do it Cody." Cody felt another contraction so he put his chin to his chest and pushed with all his might. Again Chief wiped off Cody's face and neck. Again Cody felt another contration so he put his chin to his chest and pushed with all his might. Only this time it felt different, it hurt worse than before. After Cody released his pushed, and after Chief wiped Cody's face and neck. Cody said "Doctor Mcswain the last contraction felt different it hurt worse than before." Doctor Mcswain "this is bad." "What?!" Ask Cody and Chief asked fanatically. Doctor Mcswain said "Cody I need you to calm down for the health of you and the baby." "Also if it's what I think it is then you're having a small complication with the delivery." Chief asked "what does this mean." Doctor Mcswain said " I need to check Cody again and then I can tell you more but before I do, Cody I need you not to push during the next contration and breath through it like heeheehoo okay?" Cody replied "okay." Cody felt another contraction but instead of pushing he breathed through it like "hee hee hoo." when it was over Chief wiped the sweat off his face and neck. Then Doctor Mcswain checked Cody again and Said "I didn't feel anything wrong." "What?!" Asked Cody and Chief frantically again. "Cody you need to calm down it's not good for your baby." Then she laid a hand on his shoulder to calm him. The she said "there is one more thing it could be but i need to check Cody again, but this time it'll be on the outside." "Cody is it alright with you?" Cody replied "okay" Doctor Mcswain said "Cody i need you to breathe through the next contractions until i find the problem." Cody said "okay." Cody felt another contraction but instead of pushing he breathed through it like "hee hee hoo"when it was over chief wiped the sweat off his face and neck again. Then Doctor Mcswain pulled the sheet off Cody's Hip just a little bit. Then Cody asked "what are you doing?" "Cody I need you to tell me if it hurts where I touch." Doctor Mcswain said. She then touched his hip. She asked "does it hurt here?" Cody said "no." She touched a different spot and asked " here?" Cody shook his head "no." Then she touched yet another spot. This time Cody screamed out in pain. Then he felt another contraction instead of pushing he breathed through it like "hee hee hoo" when it was over chief wiped the sweat off his face and neck. Doctor Mcswain said "the problem is that the baby's hand got caught up on Cody's hip bone." "What can we do to resolve this problem?" Asked Chief. Doctor Mcswain said "there are two ways to resolve this problem, i could turn Cody on the other side and have him push, or reach in dislodge the hand and have Cody push the baby and my arm out. Cody after breathing through another contraction said "i would rather have you do the first option." So Doctor Mcswain took Cody's right foot out of the boot and had him lay on his left side. She lifted his leg and told him on his next contration  push Cody felt a contraction he put his chin to chest and pushed with all his might. Doctor Mcswain counted "2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10" when she counted ten Cody released his push. Chief wiped his face and neck again. Doctor Mcswain asked "Cody did that feel better?" Cody replyed "felt the same as last time." Doctor Mcswain laid his leg back down had Cody lay on his back then put his foot back in the boot. Then got up went to the cuboard and pulled out a another box of gloves then put only one on. She came back over and Cody could see this glove went up to her elbow this made Cody nervous. She sat back down and could see that Cody looked nervous. She said "Cody I need you to calm down." "Sorry Cody but I'm going to have to dislodge the hand. Cody im going to pull your rearend open gently then put my hand up past your cervix and dislodge the hand. "Cody felt another contraction instead of pushing he beathed through it like "hee hee hoo" after it Chief wiped the sweat of his face and neck. Doctor Mcswain said "Cody you might feel some pressure." Then she took her hand with the regular glove and gently pulled open Cody's rearend then put the other hand in Cody very slowly. When she was about half way there Cody felt another contraction instead of pushing he breathed through it like "hee hee hoo." After it chief wiped the sweat off his face and neck. Then doctor Mcswain continued very slowly. She got to the problem she carefully moved the hand and held it by the baby's side. She said "Cody i have fixed the problem i need you to push on your next contaction. Cody felt another contraction grunted in discomfort then put his chin to his chest and pushed with all his might. Doctor Mcsain Counted "2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10" Cody released his push. After chief wiped the sweat off his face and neck. This continued for three more contractions then after the forth contraction Cody gasped. Doctor Mcswain said "Cody you're doing well the head is out now for the hard part." "H...hard part?"
Cody asked tirely. Doctor mcswin "said yes the shoulders they will stretch you out even more especially with my arm." Cody felt another contraction grunted in discomfort put his chin to his chest and pushed with all his might. Doctor Mcswain counted "2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10." After it chief wiped the sweat of his face and neck. Doctor Mcswain said "Cody i need you to not push on the next contraction." "What's wrong?" Asked Chief. Doctor Mcswain replied " the cord is wrapped around the baby's neck just give me a sec to unwrap it and got it. "Okay Cody you can push again." Cody felt another contraction so he pushed with all his might as doctor Mcswain counted 2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10. as soon as she said "ten" cody released his push again Chief wiped Cody's face and neck.
