Cody felt another contraction and took a deep breath and pushed with all the strength he had left. Doctor Mcswain counted 2.3.4.5. As soon as she counted five Cody released his push. Chief wiped his face and neck and asked "Doctor Mcswain is it normal that Cody only pushed to the count of five?" Doctor Mcswain said "this is what I feared what would happen." "What?!" Chief asked. Doctor Mcswain replyed " Cody is losing strength to keep pushing he needs to give birth soon before he loses all his strength or I will have to do an emergency c-section. "Is there anything I can do to help make sure that won't happen?!" asked Chief. "Yes, I need you to call Doc Green on the phone and tell him to bring the baby heater and the birthing kit. And on his next contraction put your hand on top of his stomach and push down while he's pushing." She replyed. "Will it hurt?" ask Cody nervously "yes it will but it is the best way to help you." Said Doctor Mcswain. So Chief called Doc Green and told him to bring the items Doctor Mcswain asked for. Cody felt another contraction and pushed with all his strength left and Chief put his hand on Cody's stomach and push down and Cody screamed in pain. Doctor Mcswain counted 2.3.4.5. After Doctor Mcswain counted five Cody and Chief stopped pushing. Chief again wiped Cody's face and neck. After that Doc Green Came in with a topless bassinet and a tray full of tools he brought them to Doctor Mcswain. Again Cody felt a contraction so he pushed with all the strength he had left and Chief pushed down while Doc green counted 2.3.4.5. As soon as he counted five Cody and Chief stopped pushing and Chief wiped Cody's face and neck. This went on for three more contractions on the forth cody gasped for breath. Then Doc green said "Cody your doing great the shoulders are out just a little more." Cody felt another contraction he pushed with all his strength and Doc Green Counted "2.3.4.5" then Cody felt no more contractions "it's out, say hello to your baby girl. " Doctor Mcswain held up the baby and laid it on Cody's chest. While Doc Green and Doctor Mcswain got the bassinet ready Cody and Chief were bonding with the baby. Then Doctor Mcswain picked up the baby and handed her to Doc Green grabbed to clamps clamped the cord and asked "Chief would you like to cut the cord." "Yes I would." Replyed Chief. He grabbed the scissors and cut between the clamps. Then doc green took her to the bassinet and cleaned her up. Then Doctor Mcswain tuned to Cody and said "Cody you will feel small contractions I need you to gently push I need to pull the placenta out." Cody felt a tiny contraction and gently pushed and Doctor Mcswain gently pulled in seconds the placenta came out. Then she took Cody's feet out of the boots and let them down. Then she left to go get the others in the other room as soon as she walked through the door she was surrounded by Cody's brothers and sister she said cody had the baby." Every one yelled "yay." She then said "come with me and you can see cody and the baby." Dani asked "is it a boy or girl,I hope it's a girl." Doctor Mcswain said "I'll let cody tell you since he had the baby and he will have to stay in the hospital for three days." When they reached the room she said "enter quietly and be gentle with Cody." They enter the room and went straight to the baby and Cody said "Hey what about me?" They tuned to cody and took turns hugging him. "so what is it?" Asked Dani excitedly "say hello to your neice Olive dani burns." "Ehhhha" cried Dani that made Olive cry so Dani went over and pick her up. Doctor Mcswain said I'll call the hospital and have them send an ambulance to the lab. she left and did that. Doc Green said "Cody would you like to change now?" "Yes" replied Cody
