"Kendall fifteen minutes till show time." A man says with a head piece popping his head into the door way.
"Thank you George." I sit in front of the mirror and check my hair over again.
'Breath, just breath.' I think to myself. I sit there, biting my lip. "I can't, I can't." I whisper. I start breathing hard, and I pull my legs up to my chest.
I'm so out of it takes me a while to realize someone has been trying to talk to me.
"Kendall, Kendall." He says, rubbing circles on my back. I freeze and look at the face in the mirror. He spins my chair around and makes me look at his face directly.
"Kendall, you can do this." Harry says rubbing my numb arms. My arms once covered in goosebumps, slowly dissipates. I release the breath I was holding and nod. "You're going to be great, more than great, you'll be amazing."
I close my eyes and look down, my lips forming a line. Strands of my hair fall into my face, and I breathe in from my nose. He lifts my chin with his spindle-like fingers, forcing my head towards him. "Kendall open your eyes for me, please." I slowly open my eyes and see that his inches from mine. "You can do this." He says and he inches closer and then closes his eyes and brushes his lips against mine.
I don't respond, I just sit there as he leans back to his full height, "I believe in you." He says.
Before I can respond, George comes back to the door. "Show time Kendall."
"Thank you George." I say my voice confident. He leaves the room and I walk to the door leaving Harry where we stood. "And Harry," I say, his eyes glitter at the sound of my voice. "I still don't trust you."
His smile droops and he tries to speak, "Ke_." But I don't hear his full response I'm already walking to the stage. I can do this. I believe.

"I'm Kendall Hoy enjoy the rest of the show! Good night!" I say into the mic taking a bow. The crowd roars and I see the flash of thousands of camera phones, I wave and walk off the stage. The backstage crew claps for me as I walk back, they also hand me water and a towel.
"You did great Kendall!"
"Congratulations!"
"You killed it!"
"Thank you, thanks." I repeat over and over, my smile stretching across my face. I start heading for my dressing room but then I'm mobbed by the boys.
"Good job Kendall!" They say suffocating me into a group hug.
"Guys, air, please." I say as they release me "Thank you so much."
"No_" They start but Niall grabs me from behind and spins me around.
"You did fantastic!" He says releasing me.
"Great!" Liam says giving me a bear hug.
"Thanks guys." I say smiling non-stop.
The boys keep talking about my performance around me and we all laugh and joke around. Harry makes accidental eye contact with me and forces a smile. I can tell its fake, it doesn't reach his eyes.
I bite my lip about to say something but someone hugs me from behind. "Oh my god Kendall you were great!" Nat says.
I hug her back. "Thank you so much."
"Speaking of performances, shouldn't you be on stage now?" Nat says letting me go, looking at the boys.
They look at the clock on the wall. "Shit." Niall says and they all run to the door.
