Won't you play with me, nii-san?

Chapter Five: His Home.

Ichimatsu awoke on the couch at home.

Maybe Osomatsu carried him home.

He yawned and looked around, he was in the living room and no light appeared in the widows. It was night time. Ichimatsu tried to move his legs but felt something on them he looked down at his feet seeing a sleeping Jyushimatsu. He had a yellow blanket wrapped around him. Ichimatsu moved his feet close to himself but as he did Jyushimatsu awoke.
"Ichimatsu nii-san?" He asked with a tried voice. Ichimatsu hoped he would fall back to sleep but of coarse he didn't.
"Ichimatsu nii-san! You're awake!" He said with a loud voice.
"Yeah, I am." Ichimatsu said as he looked away.
"Oh Nii-san! I was worried! We all were!" Jyushimatsu said as he bounced up and down in his wheelchair. Ichimatsu watched him with a tried face.
"Be quiet! You'll wake the others!" Ichimatsu said in a harsh, low voice. Jyushimatsu covered his hand with his sleeves and nodded with a smile. Ichimatsu looked down at his sheets.

Why is he evening here? Why would he be waiting for me to wake up?

Ichimatsu looked back up at Jyushimatsu, who stared at him, then looked away from him. Ichimatsu placed his feet on the floor and stood. He slowly walked over to the door.
"Ichimatsu nii-san? Where are you going?" Jyushimatsu asked in the most quite voice he had. Ichimatsu looked back at him.
"I'm going for a walk." Ichimatsu said as he slide the door open. Jyushimatsu smile faded.
"Can I come?" He asked in a low voice. Ichimatsu shook his head no as he closed the door behind him, but as he did Jyushimatsu started crying. Ichimatsu growled then turned away trying to get his jacket and shoes on before his brothers came down. He about walked out but a hand was placed on his shoulder. He looked back at Osomatsu.
"Where are you going?" Osomatsu asked.
"I'm going for a walk." Ichimatsu said pushing Osomatsu's hand off his shoulder.
"That wasn't my question." Osomatsu said in a low but tried voice. Ichimatsu rolled his eyes and growled.
"I'm going down the street." Ichimatsu said with a tsk.
"Why?" Osomatsu asked rubbing his eyes, yawning.
"Because I want to get away from here." Ichimatsu said growling. Osomatsu stared at him for awhile then spoke.
"Fine, go. But Jyushimatsu isn't gonna go to sleep, he'll be waiting for you to come back home so, you better make it a quickly walk." Osomatsu said as he walked into the other room. Ichimatsu walked out the door and walked towards the park since it was at the end of the street, about 6 blocks down from where they lived. As Ichimatsu walked he just kept thing about how Osomatsu said home. He was puzzled.

Why would he say it like that?

He shook the thought off as he got to the park. This was the park were he sat when the rest were trying to find ESP Kitty. Jyushimatsu found him. All by himself. Ichimatsu walked over to the beach and sat down, this place had a lot of memories. He started to remember some of them, like the one time where Jyushimatsu played with Ichimatsu on the play ground then they soon got some ice cream from a ice cream truck that pasted by. Ichimatsu smiled a bit but didn't realize it. He began to think all about Jyushimatsu and all the fun thing they did together.

"Home is where the heart is nii-san!" A Jyushimatsu voice told him.

Then it hit him, Osomatsu didn't mean the house he meant Jyushimatsu. He looked at one of the clocks in the park. 2:48 am. Ichimatsu eyes widen, Jyushimatsu had an surgery today at 3:00 am. Ichimatsu stood and zoomed down the road running as fast as he could, he couldn't let his little brother worry because he loved him. Ichimatsu panted as he stopped at the door. He quickly opened and looked in the living room then upstairs, they were gone. He quickly went downstairs and darted out the door running down the street towards the hospital.

He soon reached the hospital and looked all around till he spotted his brothers, he ran over.
"Jyushimatsu!" He yelled with him panting. Osomatsu looked at him.
"Jyushimatsu went back all ready." Osomatsu said.
"When? How long ago?" Ichimatsu asked hoping he wasn't to late.
"About 5 minutes ago." Karamatsu said with Choromatsu asleep in his arms.
Ichimatsu looked at them then the doors that lead you back to everyone. Ichimatsu ran past the nurse table and though the doors. He could he nurses yelling at him but he ran and looked around at the signs till he found 'surgery'. He ran though those doors and looked in every room, the more he looked the more he thought he was too late. Tears began to form in his eyes till he heard Jyushimatsu screaming, he ran towards the sound till he got to the door he opened it to see Jyushimatsu crying and screaming about something.
"Jyushimatsu." Ichimatsu said as he walked over to him. The doctors tried to push Ichimatsu back out and called for nurses to help get him out. Ichimatsu pushed though the doctors and ran to Jyushimatsu, hugging him.
"Shhh. You're big brother is here." He said as he placed a kiss on his forehead and wiped his tears away.
"Nii-san, you came. I'm so happy." He said with his smile replacing the frown. Ichimatsu smiled a bit and hugged him more.
"Now I'll be waiting in the waiting room for you to get out, okay." Ichimatsu said as one of the nurses grabbed Ichimatsu and pulling him away from Jyushimatsu.
"Okay Nii-san! Ichimatsu Nii-san! I l-" Jyushimatsu got cut off as they placed the some mask over his mouth and as the door closed. Ichimatsu didn't noticed he had tears running down his fave but he didn't care. The nurse was telling him that he shouldnt do that every again as he thought. He wished had more time, he wished he knew what Jyushimatsu said before they did anything.

Ichimatsu was back in the waiting room getting yelled at by Karamatsu, Osomatsu knew why Ichimatsu did it so he didn't say anything. Karamatsu finally gave it a rest when Choromatsu started to wake up. Osomatsu looked over at Ichimatsu was still had tears running down his face.

This was like his goodbye.
