Beanpole extended his arm to help me up. "How about a tour?" I extended my right arm and he helped me up. "Sounds good. How big is 'Death's base'?" Beanpole smiled "you'll see" He led me down the narrow hall past many doors. Cold lights shown from above. I was about to ask where we were headed when he gently pushed against my back guiding me into a dark room. "What are you do-" I was horrified as he pushed he hand against my mouth and his other hand singled me to be quite. He leaned in next to my ear as I struggled against his grip "Trust me. Stand still and don't make a sound." I was about to scream but Beanpole quickly moved to the other side of the room and reached up high on the wall and began fiddling with something. The room was too dark for me to see what he was doing but I decided not to scream and wait and see what he was doing. I began to realize how tall he was as he twisted something that was right under the ceiling. He ran to the door and closed it. Then flicked the lights on. I saw that what he was working on was an old style security camera, but now it was tipped down dead. He sat against the wall of the small room and motioned for me to sit next to him. "There now we can really talk. All the rooms are monitored and this is the only room that I can 'block their view' from. Now what questions do you have to start out with? We have a good two hours before those goons realize that the cameras out." My mind swarmed with the questions that had been piling up. "Well I guess we can start with why you don't want to know my name and why you won't tell me your real name." I sat down next to him as he began to explain. "Well the goons that work here would want to know it, that's why I stopped you. Hopefully we can escape from here someday and blend in somewhere else. But if they know who you are then they are able to locate you. That's why we all make up nicknames to call ourselves instead of using our real names" It was starting to make sense to me "So can you tell me your name now that we are in private?" he brought his knees to his chest and rested his chin on them "well... can't really do that either. They can do pretty bad stuff to you if you know information they want. So you don't want to leave your friends behind with information you know they could get hurt for. But you don't need to worry about that right now, we have plenty of time to make you a name." he paused waiting for the next question. "Well... when you were bandaging my arm you said you wished it was Friday. What did you mean by that?" Beanpole laughed "uh... it's a little hard to explain. The Master captures people who are well... special, like you. I was captured a long time ago-" "You mean, you have powers to?" A slight blush appeared as he smiled proudly. "Yep, thats right." I leaned closer excited "what can you do?" Beanpole leaned his head back against the wall "You'll see on Friday-oh wait I forgot to finish explaining. Well the Master captures these people because he wants to steal your power. He hasn't figured out how to do it yet, so he keeps capturing us and injecting us so we don't get away while he studies us. But the good thing is that the master has to go back to town every Friday and his partner, who was supposed to be called Principle but we just call him Prince, stays behind to keep an eye on us. Don't ever mention it, but Prince wants to help us escape but, he decided that first we need to get trained up with our powers so we can't get captured again. That's what Fridays are for. Prince has a huge room that he has hidden so we can skip injections and train in there. Don't bother asking me or any of the other people about their powers because we all want to surprise you this Friday. I wont tell any of them about your power so you can surprise them to. Prince is eager to see your power to, he is really smart and loves to try and help you get better at it. But whenever you see Prince and the Master together you must pretend to hate them both." I gently yawned "ok, got it. What time do you suppose it is?" Beanpole yawned in turn "Probably about eight, maybe eight thirty. We have just about enough time to get you a nickname before they start making sure we're in bed" I hugged my knees, thinking "I'm not very good at coming up with names, I don't even know where to start." Beanpole began eyeing me up and down "well... we usually do something that has to do with our powers. So it needs to do something with a tiger" I spoke up "well, a tiger isn't the only thing I can turn into" Beanpole looked impressed "well, then just anything animal then" I smiled still thinking "yep, but I have no idea what to do for a name" I felt embarrassed, usually creative stuff like this came easily to me but right now my mind was blank. Beanpole broke the silence "well, Thirdwheel came up with my nickname. Maybe after Friday's training Thirdwheel might have something. He has come up with at least three people's names. Besides we should be getting to bed. How about for now I just call you Tiger" I smiled with acceptance to the new name.

After Beanpole fixed the camera we slowly began our way back to the small room. Tired I unknowingly began to lean on Beanpole as we walked. My step slowed as my head came to rest on his shoulder. He slowed his pace to match mine as he placed his hand on my waist to support me as we walked. When we reached the small room Beanpole gently lowered me to the chair "Stay there. I will right back with proper blankets and a pillow."
