Dragon's invitation

(A/N: THIS IS  INSIDE THE  PALACE) 

Elora's POV

I woke up to something warm and I snuggled into it even more loving every second of it. I woke up when I heard it laugh and so I opened up my eyes and saw the dragon. I gasp as he pulled me towards him and then mumble something that I couldn't make out. I then tried to get out of his grasp to make us breakfast. When I finally got out of his death trap, I went downstairs towards the kitchen to make wheat pancakes. I started to hum when I looked at the table to see that breakfast was done, then I looked for the dragon only to find him by the door..... I smiled and then said "Good morning." He muttered something and that was when I noticed that he was not a morning person.... I giggle as I saw him try to pour himself some coffee but realized that he forgot to grind some. I then said "When are we going to town?" He turned to look at me and then said "After breakfast, we will go but stay close to me." I nodded and then went upstairs to get ready since he was already ready. I went up to my room and then picked out a shirt and pants then went to take a shower... I looked in the mirror which reflect all the scars on me. I tenderly touched the scar that was on my back and remembered the first time I got it....
FLASHBACK......
I was six years old and couldn't wait until my birthday and then I looked for my father and mother. I was so happy that I didn't even know that they had a disgusted face when I came in... "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT!?!?" Yelled my father as he got up and came closer towards me. Being little I said "It's,y birthday!" The next thing I knew was that I was on the ground holding my cheek crying while he said "WE DON'T HAVE NO OTHER DAUGHTER!" "STACY GET THE KNIFE SO WE CAN GIVE HER OUR"GIFT" TO HER!" The next thing I knew was pain in my back..... I sobbed as I tried to get away but that made it even worse. It felt like hours before he finally stopped with the knife and then kicked me in the back... I was so numb that I didn't even feel it as I slowly crawled to my room. Once on the cold concrete floor, I slowly found a mirror and turned my back to see it was completely destroyed. I thought that I could see the spine by the way he cut it... I  chocked on a sob as I looked away from my back........

PRESENT....
I sight and then got in the shower to do my hair.... I started to hum while in the shower and then I heard "Elora?" I froze then asked "Yeah?" "When your done with your shower, we will leave." "Ok." I heard him walk away from the door no that was when I wanted to slap ,myself. "He isn't like my brother so why did I not answer him?" I thought as I finished my shower and then came out... I dried myself off and then realized that I forgot my towel, I paled remembering that I had that scar on my back and the other scars on my legs.... I peeked out from the door and saw no one and so I ran towards my room. I sight and locked the door and then turned to see him on my bed...... I saw his eyes red with anger as I backed up....

??? POV
I walked towards the bathroom's door and then said "Elora?" I heard her stop humming and that was when I waited for a replies when she said "Yeah." I took a deep breath and then said "When your done with your shower we will leave." When she said "ok." I smiled and then went towards my room and picked up a book that I thought she would like. I wanted to surprise her with something she loved. I slowly snuck into her room and placed the book on her bed and then turned but then I saw her rush into the room. I was about to say something but then I looked at her in awe for she was stunning and that isn't even the right word to describe her beauty but then I saw her back.... I felt a monster in me awaken as I saw a long scar that started in the middle of her back and stop right below her spine.... I knew that my eyes were red when I saw her pale and back away from me, I felt sad but it didn't over come the anger that I was feeling. "W-what are you doing in my room?" Her sweet voice made me snap out of it and then said or well stutter..... "I-I was well..." I rubbed the back of my neck blushing and then said " I came here to give you a book but, I wanted it to be a surprise..." She blushed and that sent blood to my member but then I remembered what happened last night then said " I'll go so you can um.... get dressed." I walked past her and was almost out the door when she grabbed my shirt and then said "Stay with me..." I was shocked but then said " I will never leave you but you need to get dressed." She looked down at her towel and then blushed red and then shoved me out of the room. She even yelled "Leave!" I then faked winked and then said "But I thought that you didn't want me to leave you." Not even a moment later.... "SHUT UP!!!" I just laugh my head off and then went to get some money.....

Elora's POV

I slid down the door in my towel,blushing... "I can't believe that I said that." I thought as I went to get some clothes. I still blush like mad just thinking about what he said." I then put a white blouse and black jeans then placed a cap on top of my long hair... I smiled at myself in the mirror, but frowned when I noticed that you could see the scar on my neck, sighing, I took out a jacket and put it on and then went to look for the dragon.... I found him by the door and then came up towards him, when he saw me, he smiled. He then said "Ready to go?" I nodded and we went off to town, I stayed close to him. I jumped when a man brushed past me and I was about to scream when the dragon placed his arm around me and pulled me closer as we neared a shop that sell dresses, pants, shirts, and shoes. As we entered, I saw the cutest dress ever, as the dragon looked at pants and shirts for me, I went towards the dress and looked at the size. I was in luck to see that they had my size and so I looked at the price..... My eyes about jumped out of their sockets as I read the price... "$504,000 Pence." "I knew that man was a forger." I thought but then was depressed as I saw how much it was again. I then did the math to see how much it was in American dollars and I soon came to $6262.20. I paled even more but, I really did love the dress. I sigh and then started to look for something else...... Once we were done, I noticed that the dragon had a bag in his hands. "What did you buy?" I asked trying to look in it but he simply raised it out of my reach and then said "Nothing." I pouted and then went to look for something else, the whole day was like that and then we finally went back towards the cave. Walking through town, I decided to ask the dragon what was on my mind...... "Hey, how come nobody notice us coming up and down the mountains?" I looked at the dragon who said "The mountain is protected by a magical shield and only the ones with the purest of hearts and soul could enter." "What do you mean by pure?" "They don't have greed in their hearts and they are pure in mind." I blushed and then stayed quite for the rest of the trip. "Hey, I forgot to ask you but where are we?" The dragon raised an eyebrow at me and I blushed then looked down. The dragon held back my arm as a man raced past us followed by two other men shouting "Thief!" We continued to walk back to the cave when I looked back at the dragon who said "We are on an island called Starlight." I looked at him shocked and then he said "It is the 1436, you know that right?" I then shook my head "NO." That was when he said "I'm going to kill him." I then said "What about me, I'm wearing a shirt and jeans." "Your wearing a cap right?" "Yes." "You look like a male, when we get back to the cave, you can wear all the jeans and shirts that you want but, when we come out here then you have to wear a dress." "Thank the heavens that we bought some dresses." I said as we neared the cave, we were stopped by the royal guards and town crier. "Here thee Here thee!" the crier yelled, "The prince is going to give a ball!" "All eligible ladies of the kingdom will attend tonight!" I then looked at the dragon whose jaw was clenched as everyone started to disburse to discuses what they are going to wear..... We then moved back to the path... Once inside the cave, I put my new clothes into my room and then went downstairs to see the dragon looking stressed. "Why are you stressed?" I asked and he looked at me and then said "I have to attend tonight's ball for the prince." I looked at him then said "Why?" He sigh and then said "I go to the ball so I can pick out if the prince is worthy of taking the throne." "So you choose if he is worthy?" "Yes." I stay quite but then he said "The ball is tonight and it is only five so, I suggest you take a shower and I will get dressed and then we can go..." I was surprised then said "I get to go?" He raised his eyebrow at me and then said "Yes, your my date." I squealed and then ran to hug him as he laugh then said "Go take a shower and get ready." I nodded and ran upstairs and the last thing I heard before going into the bathroom was the dragon's laugh........
