Dragon's trail

Elora's POV

I woke up to see that he wasn't there. I started to panic as I looked for him..... I was just about to scream when I heard "Elora?" I turned quickly to see him and that was when I wrapped my arms around him. "I-I" I choked out a sob but that was when he put his hand on my head and said "I'm sorry but I had to do a test for the new king." "You mean?" "Yes, the new king shall be tested on wisdom, kindness, and overall love." "If the new king can't love than he shall be sent home." I looked up at him and then said "Who will be the new king?" "I don't know."  I looked closer at his face and saw that he had bags under his eyes, I tried to reach out to him but he turned his head and then said "I must go." I just stood there all alone....................... I suddenly felt all alone that I didn't even see the shadows that loomed right behind me........

Meanwhile.......

??? POV

I walked until I saw the palace.... I sigh, I didn't want to be away from Elora too long but I had to pick the new king and the only way to do that is to find the one who has wisdom, kindness, and love. I walked into the palace and then saw the advisor, I then was about to turn away but, he said "Dragon, right this way." I followed him and then I saw all the people who wanted to become king. "This is going to be a long night." I thought as I yelled "A king must be wise but also have kindness with overwhelming love that he would not wish his enemies to go to hell!" I looked over all the faces as I continued "If you can't do that then leave now!"  I saw some people wanting to move but never did and so I laugh and then said "Your first task is wisdom!" "You have until tomorrow but tell me what  is a king and how is he fit to rule but you must also tell me what is dose the four elements air, water, earth, and fire to the king!" "You have until tomorrow to tell me!" I saw a lot of faces smirk and some pale but then I also yelled "This task must be base on the detail of the heart and not the mind!" I saw a  lot of confused faces and that was when I yelled "Dismiss!" Everyone left and that was when I looked at Elora's brother who said "How is my sister doing?" I then grabbed my sword and was about to kill him but he said "A dragon can't hurt a mortal if they do then they become mortal and then your scales are worthless." I withdrew and he smiled and said "Shall I show you to your room?" I wanted to kill him so bad but I couldn't lose my scales or else I couldn't control the people and a dragon couldn't become king. "Even if I did become king." I thought, "I would have to watch my back a lot more then the greedy people who wants my scales for power." I was led to a room and then he left but when I turned I saw the prince with a sword. "Your highness." I said "I thought I exiled you." "You have domiciled me but I'm still the prince!" I looked at him and then said "Your insane!" He just laugh at me before running at me with his sword... 

Elora's POV

I woke up to see my brother looming over me.... I got up and tried to move away from him but he said "Easy, you know how long I tried to find you?" "Doesn't matter now." I looked at him and that was when he said "The prince will kill the dragon and then I will kill the prince and then you will become my bride..." I looked at him with horror and then said "I'm your sister!" "No, you were never my sister!" I looked at him confused and that was when he said "You are the long lost princess, you were abandon on our front porch." "Mother and father was going to let you died but then I said we need a slave so we kept you and fed you." I looked at him and then it all made sense, the way they treated me and how they looked at me. "I fell in love with you when you turned ten and I was twelve." "I wanted you for myself but then I couldn't handle the desire and then went after you but that was when you escaped but it doesn't matter." I looked at him as he laugh and then said "I will give you your last hour of freedom before I come back for you..." He left me in the cage as he walked away, I gasp as I tried to recover and then put my head on my knees and cried... I looked around the room and noticed that it was dark and I was chained to the walls. I put my head down again and the last thought was "SAVE ME...."  (Play song now... This drama was the best please try it out and tell me how you liked it.)  I looked up at the sky through the bar windows as I remembered my favorite song and the hardships that I went through to get here. I then sigh and prayed with all my might that I would be saved but then I felt tears fall...... I felt more tears fall, I wiped them away but they kept falling until I couldn't see my hands. The tears kept falling until I couldn't even breath anymore..... I felt like I was going to died so I took out the knife that he gave me and held it to my throat but my hand kept shaking and I was about to kill myself but a hand stopped me... I looked up to see the dragon, I let go of the knife and wrapped my arms around him and cried harder... "I know." he said "Sorry that I was late." "No." I said "You came just on time..." He looked at me and then said "Did he hurt you?" "No he didn't." I looked at him and noticed that he was bleeding and then I said "Your hurt!" "It is fine." "Did you kill?" "No if I did then I would be dead but I didn't, the prince was killed by your brother..." FLASHBACK....

??? POV

I dodged the prince but his sword hit my leg.. I fell but got back up as I was getting back up, the prince got on top of me and smiled as he held the sword right above my heart.... I was ready to died but then Elora's brother came in and killed him but his last words to him was "I have no use for a pawn that will not follow my command..." FLASHBACK OVER.....

Elora's POV

I gasp but then said "My brother would always do that to people who never followed his command." "How did you escape?" "I hid under the prince's dead body." "Come on it is not safe here." "We should go back to the cave." "No, that cave is not safe anymore." "we need to stay in the palace until I appoint a new king." "But we need to stay together." I looked into his face and then smiled but then he said "What are you smiling about?" "I thought I would of never seen you again." He sigh and then said "As long as you got the dagger that I gave to you then you are fine but if you still worry." He reached on his chest right under his heart.. I gasp as he pulled one of his scales off and made it into a diamond necklace which change colors. I then said "It is lovely." "It is yours, as long as the colors change and don't fade that means I am alive and well." He then made a ring and said "This is mine, and it dose the same as your necklace so as long as we have these things on us and they still glow that means we are alive and well." I held the necklace to my chest and then looked up at him and kissed his cheek. He didn't even blush but then said "I never been kissed by anyone so I'm new at this." I looked at his ring and it showed pink which meant blushing so I smiled and said "Don't say anything your ring says it all." He looked down and then smiled but then said "We need to get out of here." I shook my head as he grabbed my hand and we exited the place where I was held..........

A/N: HEY SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED BUT WITH GRADUATION WHICH CAME AND WENT THEN GOING TO DC  AND THEN STARTING COLLEGE ONLINE.
