JYUSHIMATSU WALKED BY himself down the sidewalk, almost tempted to step into the road but decided against it. Secretly though, Todomatsu followed him, spying on him to see where his older brother was going. The other brothers were not there at the time, and had to go somewhere else. When Todomatsu had asked, they only said they'd tell him later. Ichimatsu requested the youngest brother to make sure Jyushimatsu didn't do anything reckless.
So here Todo was, in his brown beanie, behind a pole watching Jyushi simply walk as he usually did. He didn't want to get too close and blow his cover. He followed Jyushimatsu inside a convenience store. What's he doing? wondered Tater Tot. When Jyushi was at the cashier, he handed her some money and left, thanking her. Todomatsu didn't get enough time to see what he had gotten, but it looked small and gray. And something else that looked like a stick.
It was some 5:30 PM at the moment. Kara had left some twenty minutes before, and still had not returned. Painful Karamatsu-niisan, leaving when Jyushimatsu-niisan needs us, an annoyed Todomatsu thought. And then, Jyushimatsu had gone inside a building. What business could he have there? As the yellow hooded brother took the elevator, the pink hooded one ran up the stairs, stopping to pain every couple seconds. He'd arrived a little before Jyushimatsu.
And before he knew it, he was in the threshold of a door leading to the roof of a really high building. Todomatsu immediately thought hi older brother was gonna jump. Instead, he sat down, popping something into his mouth. It appeared to be. . . A lolipop? Oh. That actually surprised Todomatsu in all honesty. He stayed though, making sure Jyushi didn't see him, just in case. It'd been a few minutes when Jyushimatsu lazily threw the stick behind him in a way Ichimatsu probably would have. Ichimatsu was being a bad influence and Todomatsu made sure for Ichi to die horribly at his own hands. Returning to his original reason for even being there, Todo looked back at Jyusho. He pulled something out. His eyes widened when he was able to tell what it was. Jyushimatsu opened his mouth.
"STOP!" Todomatsu cried out, running to his brother as fast as he could. The sudden yell surprised Jyushimatsu, and he stumbled, dropping the razor that had then landed on the ground. "The hell do you think you're doing, Jyushimatsu-niisan?!" yelled the youngest Matsuno. Jyushi didn't have his mouth wide open smile, but a smile maybe Choromatsu would have but not as similar. It was a regular but faked smile.
"Ah, Totty--"
"Don't you 'Totty' me! Don't try to avoid what you did five seconds ago!" Todomatsu was practically furious. There was a slight look of fear on Jyushimatsu's face.
"Hmm?" he only hummed, with a small tilt of his head to the side. "Todomatsu, it's best if you leave." This wasn't Jyushimatsu. In fact, it was an entirely different person. It was as if now that they found out, he was a little more loose. They didn't notice any change in his behaviour the last couple weeks, but they were doing their best in the current time.
"Like hell I am!"
Jyushi took a step back.
He can't possibly be. . .
"H-hey, Jyushimatsu-niisan. Let's just forget this. Come home with me, leave the razor and this place. Please," Todo pleaded. He walked towards Jyushimatsu slowly. Jyushimatsu only giggled, covering his mouth with his large sleeve, and ruffled Todomatsu's hair. "It can't be helped."
After he said that, the older one let go and fell back, falling through the air.
* * *
Warm.
The air was warm. It felt warm through Jyushimatsu as he sliced through it, more than ready for the impact. Todomatsu's heartbeat raced in his chest. It felt like he was going to explode. As loud as could, tears running down his face, he yelled out,"NII-SAN!"
His intentions were more than clear when he held that razor over his mouth like it were a damn grape. But he'd been interrupted and confronted by the pink hooded brother. Jyushi decided to jump casually off a high-ass building. Immediately, Todo's first instinct was to jump after him, but he could probably die as well. But even so, he found himself reaching down. But it was painfully obvious Todomatsu could not grab him. His eyes widened. His brother, the most optimistic and energetic one, just jumped off a building.
Even so, Jyushimatsu kept a light smile as his eyes closed.
