Chapter two

Tom opened the door for me; I walked in to be greeted by four smiling faces. It was a little odd. I didn't have a clue who they all were.
"Hi" said a woman; she looked beautiful she had mousy brown hair parading down her back and big purple eyes. "My name is Robin, I'm you're step mum, you're dad is really sorry he couldn't be here but he had to go out of town for business"
Okay wow! I was not expecting that. A step mum. Dad could have told me or at least invited me to the wedding, gees.
"That's okay, I understand" I said
"My name is Amethyst, it's great to meet you" I hadn't noticed her until she spoke, but I was kind of freaked out, she was the spitting image of Aphrodite, except Amethyst's black hair was wavy unlike Aphrodite's witch was in dreadlocks, she had the same light green eyes and the same ear to ear smile the Aphrodite always wore.
"These are my brothers Aries and Gabriel" they two boys nodded smiled hellos.
Gabriel was tall and muscular. He had Blonde curly hair and brown eyes and was wearing a loose button down shirt and blue shorts. Aries was not as tall but he looked more built, he had the same curls except mousy brown and was wearing blue jeans and an Elwood shirt. They both looked like they could be Calvin Klein models.
"Tom, take Emma's bags up to her room will you" Amethyst said
"Yes miss"
"Okay" Amethyst said "Time to eat. I mean you have to be famished after that long flight and the drive here"
"Yeah I kind of am" I didn't want to tell her that I had a meal on both of my flights here.
Amethyst pulled me along to the kitchen and grabbed two diet cokes from the fridge and some biscuits of the shelf.
"So" she said "Are you excited about going to school Monday"
"Yeah, I am. I hope I don't get to jet lagged"
"I don't think you will"
"Why"? I asked
"Just a hunch she said with a grin.
"I guess I did have a fair bit of sleep on the flight" I can sleep anywhere, the floor a card bored box, not that I've tried that but if I close my eyes I fall asleep.
"What would you like to do today Emma"?
"Well Sightseeing shopping", it would be nice to see the sights before I have to start school I thought.
"That settles, Tom can drive us into the to all the sight around London, and then we can have a wonder around the shops"
"That sounds good. When do we leave"?
"Half and hour"
"Cool, Can I just go up stairs and change"?
"Sure. I will show you to you're room"
Amethysts lead me up the marble staircase and down a hall way to what must be the guest room. It was bigger than my room back home, painted creamy white with a dark red feature wall, the bed was on the corner, it wasn't as nice as my four post bed back home but it was still really nice. There was an ensuit and well and there was a Mac Book laptop on the desk in the corner.
