Part 8-I ran up to my room and jumped onto the bed throwing my face into the pillows. What am I doing here where is my dad? Why hasn't he tried to contact me? Why did he invite me when he isn't even here yet?What am I meant to do, here in a house with either a bunch of nutters or phycopaths. I pulled the blackets up over my head and let out a few quiet sobs, then fell asleep.
I woke up and went down stairs in my jammies determained to figure out what the heck is going on in this mad house.I walked to the kitchen and got a glass of warm milk and unfortunatly letting all the memories of last night come back. I choked on my milk and spat it onto the counter.
Great.
What am I going to do, maby I should go back home or at least try and contact dad first.
"Hey sleep well"
I turned around to see Leo leaning on the door with a cocky smirk on his face.
"whats it to you?" i said grumpily
"well I was just being nice, no need to be all snappy"
'whatever"
"look" he said "i know you must think we are all completely insane but you're gotta believe us soon, I understand how you feel honestly i do" I looked up at him to see he was standing only a foot away from me now, with complete understanding in his eyes. " I really, really undersatnd" he said sounding sincere.
"why do you understand?"
"its complicated, I can't tell you, I haven't told any of them yet either, you, they, you guys just wouldn't understand"
"why not?" I asked feeling sorry for him, he just looked so pained, like something deep, emotions were finaly being brought to the surface.
"well I'm not like them or you"
"I'm not like them let me asure you of that" I said with mock horror. He laughed at me like I was missing somthing.
"trust me, you are more like them than I can ever be" He smiled, but it didn't meet his eyes.
"and why is that, are you an alien or something, an extra torestrial, a wizard ooh thats why I came to england isn't to meet Harry Ptter and help take down Voldemort, h gosh I can't wait to meet ron is Cederic dead yet?" I said sarcasticly
"no, no" he laughed, and oh boy it was a nice laugh, nothing like mine, Aphradite used to say I sounded like a guinie pig, I squeek alot when I laugh its sad really" you were brought here to see your father and he can explain it from there"
"well, why can't you explain, and why isn't he here to explain" I asked trying to sound sweet. Really I was just trying to butter him up to tell me.
"You're father, told me not to, and he has some world saving to do" I brushed of the comment of my father, thinking it was just himmaking a joke.
"Why is he telling you what to do, and why does he seem to know his step childrens friend so well?" I asked acusingly.
"Yeh, yeh I know what you're trying to do, get me to blurt everything out, well I must say it was rather niave of you to think someone of you'r age and knowledge base could possibly out smart me"
"oh sorry but how old are you?"
"errr, um 17 no 18" he replied unsure
"mhhm that just one, or two years difference, I don't tink that make you that much smarter"
"fine, you just don't get" He said rudly then walked out of the kitchen leaving me there with my milk still spread across the counter. I wiped up my milk and went back up to my room to takea shower. I found my faverite t-shirt, my rainbow tie dyed shirt was perfect for me, a little crazy, and colourful kinda like me, with three quarter length sleeve torn at the end and only long enough to reach my belly button. I must say it was not my mums faverite shirt, she said it was a little slutty but I didn't wear it to be slutty I just licked the colours.
I walked down stairs to find Amethyst in the living room. I walked in and she didn't even look up from the TV. She was watching some news reporter guy talk about freak storms over eastern Russia, and poeple homless. I guess that is a fair enough reason to not aknowlege my presence.
I sat down next to her making her jump out of her skin and fall off the couch.
"ah" I said "are you okay"
"yeh yeh, err just don't you know scare the living day lights out of me again"
"okay fine" I laughed
"so I see you are in better spirits today, yesterday just seems like a distant memory now hey"
"err yeh right" Just thinking about yesterday make me shiver, Leo killing some one, but he not realy being dead, but being reborn or somthing. oh shit,
"so whats, up with you" Iasked
"nothing but I have a suprise for you, but you can't have it until tonight"
"okay" I really do love suprises, all though I hope it something I like nothing to unbelieveable.
