RECAP: Emma's POV

Emma thinks Leo has just killed a man whho was trying to hurt her, she thinks he could have just ruffed him up a littlebut he didn't.

"please Emma let me explain"Leo begged
"fine, you can try"
"okay, but Amethyst, Gabe and Aries need to be there, okay"
"umm okay" I said confused. Why would he even want them to know what he just did. Its just awful, I meen that guy Veern, probably was not a good buy but he didn't have to die. He seemed to know me, but I am sure I've never met. What is happening. Maby I should go back home.
Leo guides me into a cab, and I get in with no resistance. He obviously doesn't think what he did was wrong.
"hey wait" I said "what about Tom?"
"it's okay, I will call him"
He pulled out his phone, within a few seconds he was having an inaudible conversation, he talked to quickly and to quietly for me ears. I really hope that shock can't defen you. Oh my god, I thought, how can I be joking at a time like this. Shut up stupid sence oof humour.
Leo tugsed at my arm pulling me outof my thoughts. We had pulled up out the front of the house. Leo hurried me out of the car, he pulled out a key and opened the door. Why did he have a key? I meen he doesn't live here.
"You can wait here, I'll go get us somtihng to eat, while we wiat fo them to arrive" I sat down on the couch and simply nodded at him. He came back into the living room with two mountian dews and packet of salt and viniger chips my faverite, but I didn't feel like eating.
I cleared my throat, and mumbled "how, um, how long till they get here?"
"er, they shouldn't be two long"
Whith that I curled up on the couch with my arms wrapped around my knees trying not to hurt my shoulder, and closed my eyes.
I woke feeling a little dazed, I hadn't ment to fall aslep but shock must have exhausted me. Aries is standing in front of me looking very serious, Amethyst is standing in the corner with Dallin, and Leo is sitting next to me on the couch with Gabe sitting on the coffee table. I looked up at Amethyst for a little reassurance, we locked eyes and she smiled unsure.
"Emma" Aries said sternly "what do you think happened?"
"errm, well, errr," what am i meant to say, I am kinda not ready for this, I just watched a new friend kill somone at my feet.
"Emma, what do you think happened?" Aries asked again
"well I was pushed down an ally, got the wind knocked out of pushed up against the wall by some guy, then Leo apears out of no where, and pulls him off me and starts to fight him, and then decide to take it one step to far and breaks his kneck" I blurted it all out but their expressions didn't change.
"hmmm"Aries said "Well, as you can try to understand, that guy who hurt you, he is not a good, err, person, if anything, hedeserved" I could tell he wasn't telling me the truth, and that he was pleased with the lie.
"I'm sorry but, I know you aren't telling the truth, that was a load of bull"
Aries looked at gabe for some help but Gabe looked over at Leo.
"Well" Leo began "That was no a good man, he deserved to be killed"
"I'm sorry Leo" I said my voice growing louder with every word "but no one deserves to die" I nearly screamed the last part, it was weird he actually looked fightend of me.
"emma you don't understand, he isn't dead"
"Leo don't treat me like an idiot I watched you kill him"
"Yes I killed him" Leo simply stated "but he is not dead"
"this isn't a joke Leo" I yelled as i got up
"no it is not" Aries yelled "Now emma sit down and listen to us"
I sat back down, tears falling down my cheeks, Amethyst hurried over and put her arm around my shoulders.
"Emma" Leo siad "You 're write I killed him, but he is not dead, he can't die"
"I looked up in shock. Surely this was a joke. I looked at Amethyst, "is he for real" i mumbled in her ear, she just nodded. This is bonkas, what is he on.
"Leo please don't, this is rediculous" I cried as I started to get up
Aries stopped me and pushed me back down on the couch rather roughly.
" Emma please, listen, it would make this alot easier for you and us"
"fine" I said
"okay"Leo siad "Emma, that was a different being, it can't die"
"I get it okay they can't die, but what happens when you kill them?" I asked. Iam trying not to believe them but they make it hard. Leo seems to entirly believe what he is saying, its either true or he can act.
"They fade, and then are eventuallyreborn out of the darkness. Its apart of the reason so many people fear the dark"
"I'm not scared of the dark" I said sarcasticly
"yes but you are scared of Nullus Letum"
for reason I don't fully understand that word sent chills through my body. "what, what is a Nullus Letum?" I asked. Sadly I am starting to believe the hoo haa they are feeding me.
"it is a Latin way of saying, No death. No matter how many times they are killed they will never meet death, the can never die, they will always be walking with the living, but will never experience tast, smell, or pleasure and one attacked you today"
"why did one attack me? And tell me I am the only thing stopping him from getting what he wants?" I asked panicked as a chills sneaks up my spine.
"Well you are the only thing that is sopping the Nullus letum from getting what they want, you're the key"
"me, why me, I never did anything. I still don't even beleive in them properly" I ran up stairs to my room, this time no one stopped me. I jumped on to the bed and started to cry into my pillow. What am I going to do? I am either living in a house with nut jobs, or I am the key to a some conspiracy involving the undead.
