Standing in the door way, my dad, in the flesh. His Light brown hair slightly greyer than it was when I had last seen him, a few more wrinkles but other than that he looked like the same dad who I loved. He wore a grey business suit and seemed to carry himself as always like a god, like nothing could possible hurt him, he had confidence about him, just seeing him for a second brings back so many emoions, pain, love, excitment, resentment, and confusion. The expression on his face shocked me, he looked pissed.
"Get your you arm off my daughter" He yelled.
Leo instantly lifted his arm off my shoulder and inched away from me on the couch.
"You are never to go near my daughter, you horrible awful, creature" My dad yelled. Robin put her hand on his arm to calm him, but he shrugged it off and continued to glare at Leo, while Leo stood there looking uneasy.
"Yes sir" Leo said as he got up off the couch. Amethyst looked at me in shock, dallin looked majorlypissed ad did Aries and Kiwi guy, but Gabe sat on the couch paralall to me looking shocked and sad.
"You agreed, to not have any conection to them or her, and yet I come home to find you sitting here in my living room with your arm draped aroun my daughters shoulders" Dad said his voice growing with every word.
"Yes Sir, it will never happen again" Leo replied getting his confidence back.
I sat there looking from my dad to Leo to Amethyst, I was clearly missing somthing, well that got to be the understatment of the century, I havn't got a clue what has been going on for the week.
"umm, what is going on?" I mumbled.
"umm, nothing," Leo mumbled to me.
dad face just kept getting redder "Leo a word in my ofice now". leo followed my dad out of the room with a sad look on his face, he refused to look up and meet the eyes of his friends he just staired at he feet.
I sat back in my chairand let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding "What was that?" I asked
"That was Leo getting cought lieing to all his friends" Amethyst said bitterlly
"what?"
"Leo can explain it to you, when he explains it to us"
Confused I decied to go and see robin who had decided to avoid the tension and clean up our pizza boxes.
"Robin" I asked as I walked in "What was all that about, and why does my dad hat Leo"
"err, I can't explain it, it just isn't my story to tell okay"
"okay, but will I find out soon?"
"yes I believe you will" she replied'
Confused and beginging to get with the mood in the house I went up to my room. I could hear yelling from below my room, it was no dought my dads voice. I didn't hear Leo's voice once. All thisyelling and tention was really getting me in a depressed moon, so I put my listened to my happy sonds, walking around on brocken legs, breaking my straid, we're not gonna take it, the climb, my happy songs to get me into a good mood. I stated crazy dancing around my room with the volume full blast, having a blast, just letting go of all the bullshit life brings with it. I jumped off my bed doing air guitar landing awkardly at Amethysts feet. I hadn't even noticed her walk in. She waslaughing at me. Itook out my head phones and laughed along with her.
"So, this is what you do in a crisis?" she asked
"err no, not exactly, this is what i do to let loose of all my stess"
"humm, i'll be right back"
Amethyst came back with her ipod player, in hand "well put it on" I said
She plugged in my ipod and we started crazy dancing all around my room, my dacing quite alot better than hers even when we are crazy dancing. I flipped off my bed and landedperfectly, thank god for the high ceilings. amethyst flipper onto my bed, we were totally hyper, and any traces of our recent tention was gone. we were acting like happy normal teengers, it was like nothing strange had ever occured. Unfortunaly we were snapped back into reality when Aries came in and turned our music off.
"Your wanted down stairs, both of you. Now." He said matter of fact.
We walked down stairs to the living room, I couldn't help it I knew this as a serious situation but I was kinda hyped up coss of my crazy daning. But as soon as I noticed leo sitting in the corner ot the room with a look I had never seen him use, he was sared. Everyone was looking at him for answers to my fathers anger.
"go ahead" My dad said "tell them what I found out, while I was gone"
"errm, um well" Leo sarteed "this is kinda hard for me"
"We don't care we wantthe truth" Aries interupeted.
"okay, I am not like you"
"what do you meen' Gabe asked
"i can't die' he said in almost a wisper.
"what"Gabe asked shocked.
"he's one of them, 'Letums'"
"no" Leo yelled "I am not on of them"
"then what are you" Dallin yelled. I sat there in shock not a clue what the hell is goning on, I'm having trouble following the conversation, but I know the tone is still, Anger and shock.
"I am a creation of Hades, I am a son of Persophone, Persophone Hades wife, who was forced into marrige with him. She was only aloud out of the underworld for summer and spring, one Autume she came back and she was pregnant with me. Hades was furious but he couldn't kill her because the Olymipians would be spitful of him, so he punished her, by cursing me ,he knew it would truley hurt her if her son was killed, but Hades is devious and he knows that death would be to easy so he made me be unable to die, but feel all the pain a diying man would, I am reborn out of the darkness"
The room wasstunned into silence. Wiat what the F#ck Hades, seriously this is getting stranger by the minut. I eally got to find out what I've got myself into I thought. I looked up around the room and saw were mixed emotions the faces, like they were shocked but angry and sad all at once. Leo got up and left the room, leaving everyone to their thoughts. I got up and tried to catch him, but by the time I made it to the front door, he was gone, Leo was gone. I just hope hes not gone for good.
