I cried for what felt like forever, until I heard a distant voice. It was Harvey's. I listened in to try and figure out why he was cheating on me. I slightly looked up and saw a pissed look on Harvey's face.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Harvey yelled. "YOU ASKED FOR A SELFIE! NOT THAT! I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND AND YOU KNOW THAT! I GET THAT YOU'RE A FAN, BUT YOU CAN'T DO THAT! NOW, SHE PROBABLY HATES ME! I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY THAT YOU RUINED MY LIFE!" he shoved her away from him and searched around, probably for me, but I just buried my face again. I heard him run over to me. "Hey, Alyssa, you probably hate me, she was a fan and that never meant to happen I swear!" he assured me, rubbing my back. I looked at him, and noticed a sad, regretful look in his eyes.
"Am I not good enough for you or something?!" I snapped. A tear trickled down Harvey's face as he looked at the ground. My gaze quickly softened. "I kinda heard what you said back there to that girl." I admitted. "Am I really that meaningful to you? If you lost me would it really destroy your life?". Harvey looked up at me.
"It really would..." he told me. "For god's sake, I would murder myself if you left me...". I dried my tears, and thankfully, my makeup didn't smear somehow. I stood up and reached out my hand and Harvey grabbed it. I pulled him up off the ground.
"I forgive you..." I told him. He gave me a huge hug in thanking. "I saw an ice cream cart earlier. You hungry?"
"Yeah kind of... Ice cream does sound good." he agreed. I grabbed some money and we headed off to find the ice cream cart.
"I'm gonna get sooo sick!" I exclaimed as we sat down with our huge ice cream cones.
"I wonder if it's possible to lick your nose..." Harvey wondered. I dotted a little bit of my ice cream onto his nose.
"And now you have something to look forward to if you do!" I told him. We laughed and ate our ice cream.
The sun was starting to set as we finished our ice cream. I grabbed my phone and stuffed it in my pocket.
"We should probably get going." Harvey insisted. I nodded and grabbed all my stuff, including my penny board.
"Thanks for doing this, Harvey!" I exclaimed.
"No problem!" he smiled. We walked home, talking about everything that we passed.
