I grabbed my suitcases and ran out the door.

"You ready?" Mrs. Mills asked. I nodded as she started the car, everyone was going to the airport with me except for Leo, who was off at a friend's house. I watched all the houses I had finally memorized go past me for the final time. We drove for about an hour in complete silence, no music, no nothing.

We finally arrived at the airport and got all my luggage checked in. We were sitting down in the airport seats when I stood up, and all of the Mills stared at me.

"I have a few things to say since i'm boarding in a few minutes." I announced, my voice shaking a little in sadeness. "To Mr. and Mrs. Mills, than you so much for letting me stay and for everything you've done for me, you have no idea how grateful I am. To Tilly, You are like the little sister that I never had, you were always so cheerful, don't let anyone bring you down in the future." I told her. She nodded, her lower lip quivering. I embraced her in a huge hug. When she let go, I looked at Max. "Max, you are the best friend I could ever in my life ask for, you were always so supportive, thank you so much." I told him. He ran over to me and gave me a huge hug.

"I'm gonna miss you." he told me.

"Me too." I whispered. He let go of me and sat back down, trying to avoid looking at anything. "And now all that's left is Harvey." I muttered. Damn this is gonna be hard. "Harvey, hear me out." I begged. "You were the best boyfriend ever, and I love you with all my heart. I will always love you and never forget you. Remember that." I assured him. "But I don't think I can do a long-distance relationship..." I explained.

"I understand..." Harvey muttered. I gave him a huge hug.

"I will always love you, forever and ever, I once said that I would be crazy if I thought I met you, but now this happened. I will never forget you, no matter how much America changed, my love for you won't." I vowed.

"I'm gonna miss you, Alyssa." he whispered.

"I'll miss you even more." I told him, hugging tighter.

"Flight 318 to New York City, United States of America, now boarding." the intercom announced. Harvey and I let go of each other at the same time, and I walked to the boarding gate. I looked over at them one more time and waved good-bye. They all waved bye back, yet the twins and Tilly were on the verge of tears. I walked onto the plane and took my seat. It hadn't even been five minutes, but I already was realizing what a famous quote meant.

"Silence hurts." I whispered, crying quietly to myself.
