"I think this is good." Tilly exclaimed, eyeing everything we had set up.

"Good. I think my back is broken for setting up all this." I sighed.

"And by the way, it's also a sleepover, so can you help with some of the activities?" she begged.

"Why not?" I laughed. I felt hands cover my eyes suddenly.

     "Guess who?" a voice said.

     "Harvey, I know it's you." I laughed.

"Dang it." he muttered. I laughed as he sat down next to me. Suddenly, the doorbell rang and Tilly jumped up.

"They're here! Alyssa, can you please change into some pajamas like I did?" she asked. I shrugged and walked into the twins' room, locking the door behind me. I changed into this set of pajamas and walked back into Tilly's room.

There were around five other little girls, all in pajamas too. They were all giggling and drinking "tea", which was actually pink lemonade. I sat down on Tilly's bed and checked Instagram. There were tons of people that were wanting me to post, so I took a selfie and posted it.

"Alyssa, can you please put some make up on us?" Tilly begged.

"Sure, i'll just be right back." I promised. I grabbed my makeup bag from the bathroom and returned to Tilly's room. They were all sitting there impatiently.

"Can you do me first? I want Instagram makeup!" a girl begged. I laughed and explained that I would only do mascara and lipgloss since I don't know how to do Instagram makeup. She pouted and slouched. I rolled my eyes and did everyone's makeup. I left them to do their sleepover stuff and I heard my phone ring. It was a FaceTime from my parents. I swiped the screen, answering it.

"Hi, Alyssa! How's Berkshire?" they asked.

"It's good. Don't flip out though, but i'm now Harvey's girlfriend." I informed them.

"Oh, congrats! But we have something to talk about. Max and Harvey's parents also need to know." they said in a serious tone. I could tell it was serious because we have to talk with the twins' parents too.

"Ok... Let me go find them." I trailed off. I looked around the house until I found their parents sitting on the couch. "Umm... Hi, I kinda have my parents on FaceTime, and they say we all need to talk to them about something." I told their parents.

"Ok, sit down and set your phone on the table." Mr. Mills instructed. I did as they told, sitting on the couch next to them. My parents took a deep breath.

"Ok, so, Alyssa's real parents aren't dead." they told us. My heart fluttered with hope. "They were sent to jail for drug abuse. And they were finally released from jail last week. The police told us that we have to have Alyssa and her parents "reconnect again". It will only be for a day, but they are coming to Berkshire tomorrow. They have gotten over their addiction, and they have never hurt anyone before, so they should be fine. We're sorry we couldn't tell you sooner, but we just found out today."

"Oh, umm... It's just a day, right? Like 24 hours?" Mrs. Mills asked. I, on the other hand, was silenced by shock. My real parents aren't dead, my real parents abused drugs, and my real parents are visiting tomorrow?!

"Not all day, they must leave after 12 hours." My dad insisted. Mr. Mills gave me a glance.

"Are you ok with this?" he asked me. I nodded my head. He looked back at my parents. "Fine. But if she gets hurt, they must go straight back to jail." he insisted.

"Don't worry, we'll make sure of that." my dad assured. They hung up, and I just sat there.

     This will be interesting.
