"Welcome to the family, little sis!"Sealand smiled excitedly at his new sister who was cowering away behind Sweden. Noticing this, Sweden pushed you in front of him encouragingly. You looked at him startled and afraid but he looked at you with a determined look. Gulping you looked at the boy in front of you that was smiling from ear to ear.
"Hi! I'm Sealand, your big brother!" Sealand yelled, pointing at himself. You flinched at how loud he was and silently shook. "Come on Ladonia! Say hi to your sister!" The same boy whined, looking behind him.
Finland was standing a few steps away from his adopted son and smiled gently at Sealand. Slowly, Ladonia peeped from behind of Finland, squinting his eyes at the new girl. 'She isn't like Glenia' he thought 'She's a copy, just another being in this planet'
"Hello, copycat," Ladonia spat spitefully "Came to steal Onee-chan's spot, huh?" His face held a look of hatred. Hatred that couldn't be wavered easily.
Startled, Finland looked behind him to the angry Ladonia. "Ladonia, she's your new sister! Be nice!" He scolded firmly yet gently. Ladonia huffed and looked away, his gaze softening. 'There's no use arguing,' he sighed 'They're all blinded,'
Confused beyond means, you looked up at your supposed 'big brother' "What is the strange ginger talking about?" You inquired, tilting your head in confusion.
A sudden look of sadness and loss graced Sealand's face as he looked at the ground beneath him. You almost asked what was wrong before he looked up once again with the expression of happiness and joy, not a speck of sadness found. "There was another Glenia before you. She was our big sister! She looked exactly like you but acted differently until the last few days if her life," Sealand informed you, smiling gently at you. It was the first time he had a younger sibling (Ladonia didn't really count. They'd always fight) so he shared to be the best he could ever be to you.
Surprised at the information given to you you gave him a poker face "So I am a copy cat?"
Panicking, Finland quickly made his way to you, crouching to your height "No, of course not," he cooed.
You were confused as to why your new guardian hid the truth from you. You heard about this other Glenia and, to you, it sounded that you were indeed copying this important woman. 'Someone that looks like me..?' You thought 'That girl I seen in the woods! She has the same hair and eye colour as me. She even has freckles around her nose and cheeks...!'
"I think I saw her!" You squealed, looking up at Finland who had let you go when you were thinking. Finland looked at you surprised but insisted you should go on. Smiling you giggled and played with the rim of your white and blue dress "She was so pretty! She had short (h/c) hair that reached her shoulders and pretty glittery (e/c). It looked like I was staring in an ocean! She had a simple white summers dress but she didn't wear any shoes. But the prettiest thing was her pink flower crown! It was so beautiful on her," you explained, smiling and closing your eyes while looking at Finland.
Finland and Sweden shared a look and both knew that heir big sister took a visit to the dimension beneath her that was Earth. But before they could discuss things to each other, the front door was slammed open and loud laughter was heard.
"HAHAHAHAHA!! The king of Northern Europe is here!!" The voice boomed loudly. The person that owned the voice smiled widely at the people inhabiting the house with happy blue eyes. His blonde hair didn't dare flatten down. It seemed it went higher in the air as Denmark became more happier.
"Denmark please be quiet. You're going to make everyone deaf," a new voice joined the little conversation. He walked into the house and peered inside, his violet eyes taking in the house. He had a small frown on his pale face showing he was annoyed at the obnoxious male.
"Oi. Let Denmark yell. Then he'll lose his voice and we'll won't have to deal with his shouting for at least four hours," another spoke, walking into the house to get warm. He had the same eyes as his brother but his hair was an unusual shade of white. It looked whiter than snow but that wasn't possible. He had an annoyed frown on his face as he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his jacket.
Denmark whipped his head to his brother and faked cried "How could you say that? My voice is the voice of the gods. Everyone should love it," he said, putting a hand to his chest while flipping his hair.
"Then the gods chose wrongly," Norway grimaced "And stop doing that, you look like a lama in heat,"
Everyone snickered at the comment while Denmark pouted. Jolting to his senses, Finland pulled the sleeves of the two gently "Don't just stand there, come into the warmth!"
Smiling, the trio of men finally took off their hats and scarfs along with their thick coats. You stood at the stairs with your 'big brother Sealand' and the meanie Ladonia who had a ticked off frown on his face. The stairs was linked to the main hallway that contained the front door, coat hanger, the house phone, a desk with some daffodils on them* and a huge painting of a sea hitting the banks of a golden beach.
You remembered hearing them go out to buy some groceries from the local shops that were near. You all were still in Norway but you moved to a small town quite far of the capital, Oslo.
"Who wants dinner?!" Denmark yelled, walking to the kitchen to cook a traditional Danish meal. Sealand's head perked up as he smiled widely, taking your petite soft hand in his.
"Come on! Let's help Uncle Denny!" Sealand said to you softly. He noticed you flinched when you shouted at your earlier and decided on a more gentle approach.
Nodding your head rapidly, you looked back at the frowning micro-nation beside you "Come with us big brother Ladonia!" She said, outstretching your hand to him.
Ladonia looked at you surprised and then to your pale soft hand. He didn't know why you still tried to socialise with him nor why your were being nice to him but he didn't care. Hesitantly he grasped yours as Sealand tugged on yours which led to you three running to the kitchen. Ladonia smiled slightly, still staring at your intertwined hands. That was the first time someone included him in something without a frown in their faces or annoyed tone to their voice.
It was the first time someone genuinely wanted him to join with them
'Maybe she's not that bad...,' Ladonia thought as he reached the kitchen
'Maybe I should give her....a chance,'
