The day my life was turned upside down was simple enough. The day was 1 February 2045. A beautiful day, the birds were teetering in trees, the sun was shining beautifully.... hahaha. Yeah right. The world at that time was almost the same as it was in 2010, except for advanced technology.
I know I'm talking to the past. 2018 was it? Anyway, technology in my day was advanced enough that I could travel back in time. Hence me talking to you. Continuing on, The day was simple. After the sad excuse for school we have in this age, which is virtual reality, I went to the Big Rock with my friends. The Big Rock is a aptly named big rock that rests at the shore, and half of it is hidden in the water. It was our only connection left to nature other than the simulation park in the middle of the town,which offers zero privacy.
My friends, Leo, 16, a mischievous, sandy-haired kid, who has a love for pyrotechnics and good at mechanical engineering, who was supposedly named after some character in a book that his parents read in the early 2000s, Reya,16, A raven-haired girl with a wild side and a razor-sharp wit, able to trash-talk you so badly you can almost feel the burn for real.
There's also Phara, 15, a walking, talking, breathing and ... well, you get the idea, encyclopedia. Though she's a slight bore at times, she's smart and has a feisty and evil side. Finally, there's me. What can I say about myself? Brash? Sure. Cocky? Of course. Incredibly idiotic? You betcha. But, if there's one thing I can pride myself on, it's the truth. I will always stick up for the truth, and am idiotically loyal.
