The weekend Ricky spent with Devin was absolutely wonderful. He felt loved, needed, wanted. He needed that in his life, whether he'd admit it or not. Ricky smiled, he laughed, he actually was happy enough to eat a decent meal.
Never in his life had the skinny goth thought he'd ever have someone as amazing as Devin to treat him so nicely. It was only a few days, and they had gotten to know each other so well during that short time. They'd wake up, and immediately begin talking as if old friends. At night, Ricky would vent to Devin about anything and everything until he talked himself to sleep.
Of course, Ricky had the fear of annoying the beloved cross-dresser, but Devin hushed him with soothing words of kindness.
Ricky looked down at their intertwined fingers as they walked to school, a light tint of pink on his cheeks. "You're sure you want to be seen with me?" He asked in a small voice.
Devin nodded. "Of course I am, Ricky. You're gorgeous, and not to mention you make me happy. Why wouldn't I want to be seen with you, Dear?" He asked, swinging their hands slightly.
"You have a lot of friends, Dev. They don't like me very much." Ricky replied, the crystals he called eyes scanning over Devin's body.
A white, deep-cut tank top with a black leather jacket was worn above a pair of black denim shorts with a simple pair of combat boots made Devin look just as stunning as he did in dresses.
"Jesus Christ, you're adorable." Ricky sighed, getting on the tips of his toes a bit to kiss Devin's cheek. "Maybe one day you could show me how to be as pretty,"
Devin shook his head, pulling his hand away to tie his dreads into a messy bun. He slipped it back into Ricky's afterward, then kissed his temple. "You are pretty, Ricky, hush."
Ricky shrugged. The pair continued walking, little chit-chat as they did so. As they arrived to the pleasant pace Devin called school, Ricky started to shake his head.
"I-I don't wanna go in there, Dev." He whispered, watching as students began to walk inside of the building. "Everyone saw me at that party..."
Devin gently cupped Ricky's cheek and kissed his forehead. "Shh, they won't do anything if I'm with you. C'mon, Baby. Show me that pretty smile. Please?"
Ricky was reluctant, looking to the ground, up at Devin then back at the ground again. "Can I kiss you?" He asked.
Devin nodded, barely even moving his head before Ricky collided their lips together. They pulled away from each other a few moments later with a satisfied smile.
"See? You're absolutely gorgeous when you smile." Devin complimented before leading him inside the school.
Many people waved at Devin, smiling sweetly. It seemed as if everyone on the left side of the hallway (the side Ricky was walking on), scowled. He blushed, just trying to ignore it as he walked with Devin to his locker.
Matt winked at Devin with a sinister-looking grin as the beauty walked by, though Ricky didn't notice. Devin smiled back, giving a wink as well.
When Devin got to his locker, he did the combination and opened it. There were photos of multiple band members on the metal door, causing Ricky to smile.
"There's something I don't get," the teen with the lip piercing started. "You and I are extremely alike, yet everyone hates me, and everyone adores you."
Devin hadn't thought about it, but what Ricky pointed out didn't make sense at all. "Maybe it's because you hang around that Cerulli dude." He shrugged.
"What's wrong with Chris?" Ricky asked in reply.
"You don't know? Jesus Christ, you're like an alien. I love it." Devin giggled, ready to gossip. He was great at it, after all. "So, the first day of freshman year, Chris and Matt were best friends."
"No way! Not Chris-"
"Yes, Chris Cerulli and Matt Phagan. Anyway, apparently Chris had some crush on Matt's stepbrother Angelo. Ange and Chris started dating, and rumor has it that Matt walked in on them fucking. They haven't talked since."
Ricky thought that the story was odd, yet believable. "Wait a minute... I heard Chris talking about his boyfriend a few times. Is that Angelo?"
Devin nodded. "Yup. Now piece it all together."
Ricky laughed a little, pearly whites peeking through. "Matt's such a homophobic asshole.
Devin glanced to the side. "Oh, I wouldn't say that," he muttered.
Ricky set his hands on Devin's hips, then gently kissed his lips. "I don't think you understand how happy you've made me, Devin. Like, holy shit, I never thought one person could have such an incredible effect on me." He gushed with his pretty grin.
"R-Ricky, don't get so attached to me, Baby." Devin sighed, pulling the smaller goth closer.
"Why not?" He asked in reply, "I think you're amazing, I-I always have." The smile Ricky wore began to fade away. "Oh, God, am I too much? Just say it if I am, Dev, don't let me embarrass myself."
"No, it's not that, trust me. You're not too much, I really love how... Loving, you are toward me." He replied. "Just don't get attached."

Ricky sat beside Chris at lunch later that day. The two talked a bit, Chris ate his food, and Ricky claimed the water bottle from Chris' lunch tray.
"There's no way you're dating Devin." Chris scoffed in disbelief, checking his phone as it went off. Ricky snooped, seeing a text from Angelo.
Chris grinned from ear-to-ear, turning and looking to the other side of the lunchroom. Another teen, very pretty with long hair and stretched ears, waved him over. Chris shook his head, then waved the other over.
"Baby!" Chris smiled brightly, allowing the boy to sit in his lap after he walked over. "I thought you had the second lunch period,"
Ricky assumed the teen was Angelo. "Well, I missed you. I wanted to come see you!" He giggled when Chris hugged him close.
Ricky whined softly, glancing over to Devin. Were they together, or just friends with benefits? Devin caught Ricky's gaze, then blew him a kiss. Ricky smiled softly and caught it, holding it to his heart. Devin made him feel special, a way nobody else had.
"So who's this?" Angelo asked after breaking away from a quick make out session with Chris.
Ricky waved, pushing a bit of dark hair behind his ear. "I'm Ricky, Chris' friend." He replied. "You're Angelo, right?"
Chris answered, "mhm. He's my everything. Isn't that right, Ange?" He cooed, which caused Angelo to playfully shove his face away.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Ange playfully pushed Chris' face out of the way again. "Fuck outta here, you rat." He teased.
Ricky snickered, finding their relationship adorable. He wished that he had Devin to show off, but the feminine goth wanted to be with his girlfriends. Ricky had no problem with that at all. They were Devin's friends, not his.
"Babe, you're gonna get yourself into trouble. Which class are you skipping, anyway?" Chris asked his lover.
Angelo smirked and kissed Chris' cheek. "Just biology with Dr. Heath. Nothing to worry about, Babe, chill." He laughed, taking a small bite of Chris' sandwich. "So, I was thinking, Chris. Matt is being an asshat, so I'm not gonna be home tonight. We can either go to your place or..." He cleared his throat, "the fun place."
Chris bit his lip. "The fun place, Babe? Something you want? 'Cause I could give it to you right now," he purred. "The janitor's closet is unlocked." He whispered.
Angelo went pink, slapping Chris' shoulder. "You're so dirty!" He giggled. "Let's go."
