"Devin, where are we going?" Ricky whined, clinging to Devin's arm as they walked.

"Baby, shh!" Devin giggled, picnic basket in hand as he led Ricky down the trail. "It's gonna be nice, I promise you."

Ricky nodded, attempting to kiss his pretty partner's cheek (which proved difficult with a blindfold). He kissed the corner of Dev's eye instead, making him giggle. "Sorry!"

Devin shook his head, leading Ricky to a small field. Luckily, the park was rather empty, which gave them plenty of space to wander and walk. "No worries, Baby. Sit-Oh-Careful, now, there we go..." He murmured, taking a seat in the grass beside Ricky. He gently kissed his forehead, then took away the red blindfold.

Ricky squinted, his eyes adjusting to the bright sunlight. He then grinned. "Oh, Devin! You picked me up today to bring me on a picnic?!" He gushed, hugging the feminine teen. "You're too sweet,"

Devin shrugged, playing with the black shoelace of his Converse sneaker. "I try,"

Ricky kissed his cheek. "Well, you succeed. What's in the basket?" He asked curiously.

Devin grabbed the basket and placed it between their bodies. "Just some sandwiches. I wasn't sure what you liked, s-so I just packed vegetarian stuff. That's all I have.." He blushed lightly, somewhat embarrassed. "I hope that's alright with you."

"More than alright! I'm more than happy just to be around you, Beautiful." Ricky assured Devin, taking his hands. He wasn't as shy as he was at first, but was still hesitant. "Thank you so much, Dev."

Devin could've sworn he felt his heart flutter. Ricky was so sweet, so innocent. He sighed softly, "why do things have to be so difficult.."

"What..?" Ricky asked, confused by Devin's statement. "What do you mean?"

"Oh, n-nothing, Baby. Here," he grabbed a small bag of tortilla chips from the basket, "eat. You're skinny."

Ricky didn't question it much more, scooting closer to Devin and resting his head on his shoulder. Devin leaned his head against Ricky's, breathing out heavily. The poor thing was oblivious to Devin's plan.

The feminine beauty shut his eyes, lacing their fingers together. "You know I really care about you, right? I've never met anyone like you, you're amazing."

Ricky decided to be somewhat daring, setting the chips to the side to turn Devin's head to face him. He connected their lips softly, gently sucking on Devin's bottom one.

Devin kissed back passionately, carefully moving to lay down in the grass with Ricky. Ricky crawled into his lap, but didn't dare break the kiss. Devin was his, and he wanted everyone to know it. His lips slowly traveled from his face to the side of his neck, nipping and sucking.

Soon, there was a dark mark where Ricky had claimed Devin. He finally pulled away, his cheeks pink and eyes wide. "Did I go to far?"

Devin was breathless, shaking his head. "N-No, not at all, Baby. I liked it a lot." He admitted quietly, then paused for a moment. "Kiss me again. T-Tell me things are going to be okay." He whispered.

Ricky was confused, who wouldn't be? He did as he was asked, however, connecting their lips again once more. This time, Devin set his hands on his cheeks. "Mmh, Dev.. things are going to be okay, I promise."

"Pinkie promise...?" Devin held up his pinkie with a cute smile. "Can't break pinkie promises.."

The smaller rolled his eyes playfully, holding up his pinkie as well. He wrapped the digit around Devin's, then kissed his cheek. "Pinkie promise."

Ricky went home by himself that night. He lived alone, parents having abandoned him at the age of 14. He didn't know how to feel about it, in all honesty. He wasn't close to them in general, so he figured that wasn't losing much.

The only "family" Ricky had was a police officer named Lee. He came over to check up on Ricky every day.

"Where were you last weekend?" Lee asked as he set down a bag of takeout on the kitchen table. "Came over Friday, no Ricky. Came over Saturday, no Ricky. Came over Sunday, no Ricky. Where the Hell were you?"

Ricky tucked a bit of hair behind his ear, hanging his head so Lee wouldn't see the cut on his pale pace. "I was with a friend. I'm sorry I didn't tell you..." he replied quietly, taking a small box of rice from the bag. "I didn't mean to worry you."

Lee let out a heavy sigh and sat down at the table across from Ricky. "You've gotta tell me these things, Bud. You've got my number, why didn't you call me?"

Ricky shrugged, slowly eating the rice. "I-I dunno. I'm sorry! I guess I was just distracted by Devin.."

"Devin?" The officer raised an eyebrow as he opened a container of wonton soup. "The one you've been obsessing over?"

"I wasn't obsessing!" Ricky squeaked, lifting his head up quickly. He immediately regret the action after Lee noticed the cut.

"What happened to you?" He asked worriedly, eyebrows furrowed. "Did you get beat up again?"

"...Yeah, I guess..." Ricky replied shyly, cheeks going pink with embarrassment. "I got invited to a party, and I only wanted to go since Dev was gonna be there."

"It was that Matt kid, wasn't it? Ugh, spoiled fuckin' brat."

"His stepbrother is actually pretty cool, Lee. He goes out with my friend, Chris, and he likes a lot of the same stuff I do." Ricky defended. "B-But, yeah, it was Matt and another pair of dudes."

Lee sighed yet again, brown eyes scanning over the goth teenager in front of him. "Okay, give me the story."

Ricky did as asked, using many hand motions as he spoke. He eventually started talking about how Devin came to the rescue, how they kissed, and eventually went to bed together.

"You do realize that was a hate crime, right? I could report him-"

"No, please don't!" Ricky yelped, shaking his head. "It'll just make it worse for me, a-and what if he gets to my baby?!"

Lee couldn't help but smirk slightly. "Aw, Devin's your baby?" He teased lightheartedly. "Lemme see a picture of this boy."

Ricky smiled a little bit, and unlocked his phone. He went through his gallery, finding a picture of Devin and showing it to Lee. "That was when we went on a spontaneous fast food trip. You can't see his face much, but he's beautiful."

Lee smiled sweetly, then handed Ricky his phone back. "He's a cutie."

"Damn right he is."
