Monika smiled, just slightly. She hoped Sakura wouldn't tell anyone about her depression. But another thought crossed her mind; school. That's right, Monika had to go to school today with Sakura and a few of her friends. Thank God it was a Friday. Sakura realized at the same time Monika did. They both gasped. Monika grabbed her phone and dialed her friend, Matthias. Sakura called Emil.

"Did you finish your homework for Mrs. Aker?" Monika asked Matthias over the phone.

"Uhh... Yeah? I totally did! The King of Scandinavia never forgets!" Matthias replied. Monika grunted. She hated when Matthias called himself the King of Scandinavia. He was only 16, a year older than her, and two years older than Sakura. Sakura sighed and hung up.

"Emil didn't finish our project." The smaller Japanese girl said. Monika groaned.

"Nobody is doing anything. No projects, homework, or essays are being done." Monika thought aloud to herself.

"I'll call Francis. See if he did anything." Sakura mumbled and dialed the Frenchman's number.

"Ouí? This is Francis Bonnefoy speaking." Francis was oblivious as to who was calling him. Even though Sakura's ringtone on everyone's phone was "Just Like Fire" from Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass. She loves Alice in Wonderland. Monika found it quite odd, her friend's obsession with the movies and books.

"Hello??" Francis snapped Monika and Sakura's thoughts back to reality over the phone.

"Oh! Hello, Francis!" Sakura said, a bit startled. "I was just wondering if you finished our essay."

"No, I did not. I was too busy with Alice yesterday to complete it." Francis replied.

"Oh..." Sakura sighed. Monika overheard and her face went pale. She knew exactly what that meant.

"What's wrong, Mon Cherie?" Francis asked, concern in his voice.

"Nothing, just that, nobody has gotten anything done. And we've had two weeks to do it all!" Sakura grumbled to herself. Monika muttered in German.

"Mein Gott... When will we ever get anything done? Gilbert, Ludwig, and Mary are stressing out because of my bad grades." Monika crossed her arms.

"Kiku is also worrying about my grades, and Yao, Wang, Tran, and the others." Sakura sighed and hung up the phone. Only ten more minuets until they went to Hell-- um, school.
