N O T E
some of you may not like Bailey in the first couple of chapters (or in this first book) and that's okay. after all, she is "arrogant and straightforward" and so a lot of times she does do or say the right things. keep in mind that she's fifteen years old and at the start of the story not everything about her is revealed just yet.
so yeah, just wanted to add this here so that people get the full picture before they begin this story. Bailey's character does slowly get better as she observes and learns from the people around her.
this is the story of her development and her growth as a person.
