Tonight I'm going to take Imani out for a night on the town. No we ain't gonna be in Brooklyn we are going to Madison Square Garden so it can be extra special. She can go shopping and everything she wants to do. It's all about her. Earlier I went to the store and bought her at charm bracelet with her name on it to make it extra special for her. Imani went down to the hair salon to get her hair done. She wanted box braids so I aid why not and she went on her marry way. Ima have Tweety and Keyz set up for me and Imani so when we come back home she has something special and beautiful waiting for her and that's when I'm going to give her the bracelet. I called my mama up and gave her the run down of how tonight was going to go. "Hey mama" I said to her on the other line. "Hey baby how you doing today." I smiled to myself. It was only a smilable moment because I actually took the advice I heard at church and put it to some good use. " Well ma when we went to church that Sunday I actually listened. I told Imani semi how I was feeling about her and she felt the same way. So tonight I'm going to take her out to Madison Square Garden and spend time with her so we can get out of Brooklyn for a while." My mother was silent on the phone. I'm not sure what that meant so I just waited until she said something. "Well Kat I think that is the sweetest thing ice ever heard you do concerning that child. Now do right by her and we won't have a problem." My mom was right, if I did right by her than nothing bad can happen to our relationship. "Nah ma I am forreal about her this time and I know we had alot of problems but i am ready to settle down with her and make her my one and only. No hoes, no distractions, just me and her." I meant everything I said. Me and that girl have been through hell and back and there was no way I was going to mess that up. "Alright now baby ima remember you said this. Let me go head and finish cooking these greens and I'll call you later." She said. 😂😂 I hope she making enough for me because that is sounding real tasty. "Alright mama I love you" I said. "I love you too baby" She hung up the phone. I laid down on the couch and drifted off to sleep. Our date has to be perfectly perfect.
