I could not fit the full title so here it is "save a friend at your own risk!"
If you did not know I'm skipping to the part where Annabeth would be getting the statue excepted Thalia got the statue instead. Nico is also there.

Percy's POV

We just made it to the statue that Thalia had rescued. It was a statue of Athena that the Romans had stolen from the Greeks a really long time ago. Apparently, it will bring peace between them.
Thalia was able to get it because Athena blessed her. Athena and I are best friends now. She has visited us a couple times on this guest. She teaches me stuff now. I'm smart now!
I had Leo, Hazel, Jason, and Frank start to bring the statue up to the warship that was in the sky. I was with Thalia and Nico.
Nico had joined us after we rescued him from a bunch of Giants that had taken him. We found him after we defeated the Giants. We didn't even know he was missing. Good job Nico. You're amazing at telling people where you are.
Anyway, Nico was about to says something you could tell his mouth was starting to move.
"We need to move, the floor is not stable." He told us.
I nodded but then I noticed something. There was something around Thalia's foot. I went to grab it, but it was too late.
She was being pulled down to the pit. I jumped at her trying to reach her. But I was too late. We slid over the cliff to the pit. More like an opening.
Thalia had one hand dangling
" Cut the string around your ankle!" I told her.
She reached for her hunter knife and cut the string. I saw a bright flash and then Arty stood there frozen staring at me.
I throw Thalia up and Nico caught her to pull her to safety. I stared at him. I knew that I could not make it up. I looked over at Arty. She was now at the cliff.
"Nico, whatever you do, promise me you will not lead them to the other side and you will take my place for the guest!" I yelled at him.
"But-" he tried but I cut him off.
"PROMISE ME, Nico. DO IT!" I screamed at him. My eyes going blurry with tears.
"I-i promise" he whispered.
I looked off at Arty. She stared at me tears streaming down my face. Nico moved back crying next to Thalia.
"I love you, Percy," Artemis said out of nowhere.
I stared at her in shock. " I love you to Arty. To Narnia, I go!" I smiled at her.
My hand slipped. Finally giving out from holding my body weight with my fingers. I heard Artemis scream for me as I fell
I wanted to hold her and go to her. But with the wind rushing past me. I knew that I had lost her. And she had lost me. It was like I got betrayed again. Excepted this time no one betrayed me. I was just leaving.
