Chapter 1
I felt pain rip through my side as I forced myself to continue running. My silver wolf body weaving through the trees. The Werewolf Hunters ran behind me, I could almost smell the silver in their hands. I took a deep breath in through my nose and tried to get a feel of how many there were... 3? Maybe 4? I looked back seeing there was in fact 3 Hunters behind me, silver knives were in their hands. I gasped and ran through the thinning trees. As I pushed my legs into the ground I burs through the trees. I clenched my eyes shut for a minute, just to collect my thoughts. Then I felt the ground fall out from beneath me. I opened my eyes wide in shock, I yelped out in fear. My leg cracked as I hit the ground at least 40 feet from where I was. I looked up, the Hunters hadn't seen me yet. I forced myself off the ground and looked around. There was a small cave that was dug into the cliff, I limped towards it as fast as I could. As soon as I was completely in the dark of the cave I collasped letting my feet fall out from beneath me.
The dim light from twilight began to disappear as the sun fell. I looked around the small claustrophobic cave. It was a simple cave with dark rock walls and a cold rock floor. I dropped my head on the ground. I let my eyes close as I drifted off into an oddly peaceful sleep.

The next morning I woke up. I opened my muzzle wide and let out a wolfy yawn. My leg still hurt, but due to my Werewolf gene it was healing fast. I got up and put some weight on my leg. I could walk, but I don't think I would be able to run full pace. I needed to head back to the motel I was staying in, I was going to need to leave or they were going to get to me. I walked out of the cave and sighed as the morning sun hit my fur covered face. I looked up the steep cliff as I pondered how I was going to get back up. I quickly walked over to a small hill that was about 6 feet tall, I walked up it and looked at the large tree on the top. If I climbed it, I could get back up the cliff. I jumped up to a branch and perched as I got ready to jump again. In a matter of minutes I was back at the top of the cliff. I silently trekked through the forest heading back towards town. As I got close to the motel, I walked over to a small tree under which I had stashed some clothes.
I looked around and phased back to human. I quickly slipped the comfy clothes on my slender frame. I looked around and ran over to my room door. I used the key and opened the door revealing a shabby motel room. Two suitcases were at the end of the ugly bed, there was a 13 inch T.V. on a nightstand. I shut the door behind me and flopped down on the bed. I sighed as I thought about where I wanted to head now. Maybe New York? Maine?
I groaned and walked over to the bathroom to take a shower. I looked at myself in the mirror. My long brunette hair fell over my shoulders. My eyes were an odd colored Caribbean green-blue. My face was slender covered with few freckles. A small scar was over my right eyebrow. I rubbed my forehead and turned the shower on. As I let the water heat up, I thought about where any other packs might be. More likely in Maine. New York is not known for Werewolves...

After taking my shower, I packed throwing all of my clothes in the small suitcases, with exception of the pale blue tank top, white jeans, and black knee high boots I chose to wear. I grabbed my suitcases and keys and walked out to my car. It was old, but in good shape. It was a 1971 Challenger, with a sexy black paint color. I threw my stuff in the trunk and got in the driver's seat. I shoved the key in the ignition and revved the powerful engine. I swerved out of the parking lot and headed down the long road. I passed State signs and ended up in Pennsylvania.
I was driving down an old road through the forest when I saw it, a huge wolf. It was slinking through the trees, I know it saw me. I could smell the putrid smell of dead vampire. I watched as the wolf disappeared into the trees. I continued driving, I was looking for a road that I could take to follow the faint scent it had left. I soon found a small unmarked road that I turned onto, I could barely make out the scent, but it was still there.
After driving for miles I was hit with a gag worthy scent. There was a vampire clan here! Good God, they could murder a whole town in minutes! I was driving down a road into a vampire clan, I would be slaughtered if I didn't turn around. I sped up and did a huge U-turn, spitting gravel from the tires. I drove back down the small road, I really hoped this town had a pack... or else they would be slaughtered. Suddenly, my car flew off the road, it crashed violently into a tree.
“Gah!” I screamed. I closed my eyes as I stayed there trying to think for a minute. Then I carefully got out of my car, pushing the fallen tree out of the way. There was 4 men and 1 woman standing there, the two younger guys and the girl had black hair and yellow eyes, the older guy, whom I assumed was in charge had sandy blond hair and deep gold eyes.
“What's your name human?” The one with sandy blond hair snapped. Human? Then I knew... they were a secluded Werewolf pack. They didn't even know about the Vampire Clan. I looked at the Sandy blond boy, he looked about 18, the same age as me.... but he was not as smart as me. He was foolish, he was a werewolf with the blood to change at the age of 16 not when you are only 5...
“I think you should state your names, young one.” I snarled. I let my inner wolf show to them, the large silver beast's personality was brutal and terrifying.
“Young One? You can't be much older than me!” He stammered. I already had him in the position to kill him if I wished. He was young and foolish as I already thought.
“Yes, but you changed at 16, not 5 like me! So, I am stronger, smarter, and more cunning than you!” I retorted. The Sandy blond hair boy began to shake, tremors ripping through his body. Then... a blur ripped through the trees and a vampire hit him throwing him through the air.
“Aaron!” The girl screamed in terror. I smirked, the vampire was young. I could easily rip its little head off. I growled menacingly. The young vampire looked at me, fury in its eyes. He charged at me, almost invisible to the human eye. I quickly jumped up and phased in mid-air. As every bone in my body shattered and silver fur ripped through my skin I felt regenerated. I landed on the ground almost silently. I snarled at the vampire, circling him as he eyed my new form. I threw myself at him ripping at his white skin. He screamed in pain and I decided to make his death quick. I ripped off his head throwing it through the air. I looked at Aaron who was looking at me with awe, along with his little friends.
I nodded to him and then trotted off, heading back to my car. All I thought was that I knew I would see them again.
So, I hope you enjoyed my first chapter! Please read and review!
